New tech trees

We pretty much stopped once the wipe was coming, I think we are waiting for the newer tanks to start over.

I guess we can start it all over again if /jp/ is looking for something to do.

Germany Tech Tree

• Introduction of E-50.

Players who have a Panther II in their garage at the time of the revision will have it replaced with an E-50 with the respective module setup (top engine will be changed for HL295 or added as a new one), keeping their progress and old crew.

Players who have a Pz. V Panther in their garage at the time of the revision will have it replaced with a Panther II with the respective module setup (and 7.5 cm KwK 45 L/100 gun), keeping their progress and old crew, plus they will get a tier 7 Pz. V Panther with a stock setup, an extra garage slot, and a 100% crew.

No additional refunds are planned.


• Introduction of Е-75 and Е-100.

Undistributed experience from elite Tiger will be transferred to King Tiger.

No additional refunds are planned.

USA Tech Tree
• M26 Pershing will be substituted for M46 Patton. T23 will be substituted for M26 Pershing.

Players who have a M26 Pershing in their garage at the time of the revision will have it replaced with a M46 Patton, with the respective module setup (possibly with some renaming) keeping their progress and old crew.

Players who have a T23 in their garage at the time of the revision will have it replaced with a M26 Pershing in its new status, with the respective module setup (possibly with some renaming) keeping their progress and old crew.

No additional refunds are planned.
• T34 will be substituted for M103.

Players who have a T34 in their garage at the time of the revision will have it replaced with a M103 with the respective module setup and a 100% crew.

Additionally they will also get a T34 as a premium tank with the old crew and an extra garage slot.

No additional refunds are planned.

T30 will be substituted for T110 and T30 will be moved to the Tank Destroyers line of the tech tree.

Players who have a T30 in their garage at the time of the revision will have it replaced with a T110 with a 100% crew, plus they will also get T30 in its new status with the top module setup, old crew, and an extra garage slot.

No additional refunds are planned.

The re-grind is killing me.

USSR Tech Tree
• KV will be separated into KV-1 and KV-2.
Players who have a KV in their garage at the time of the revision will have it replaced with a KV-1. The KV’s crew will be trained for the KV-1.

Additionally players who have researched KV-2’s turret for KV will get a KV-2 with an extra garage slot and the KV-2 will be assigned a 100% crew.

Undistributed experience from KV can be transferred to either KV-2 or to KV-1 on demand.

No additional refunds are planned.
• KV-3 moved to tier 7 and the introduction of T-150.

Players who have a KV-3 in their garage at the time of the revision will get a KV-3 in its new status with its existing module and research setup and its old crew. Additionally they will also get a T-150 with a stock setup, extra garage slot, and 100% crew.

No additional refunds are planned.

IS-4 will be substituted for Object 252.

Players who have an IS-4 in their garage at the time of the revision will get an IS-4 in its new status with old crew, plus they will also get an Object 252 with 100% crew with an extra garage slot. Undistributed experience will remain on Object 252, however can be transferred to a new IS-4 on demand.

No additional refunds are planned.


Draft Procedure of module substitution for IS-4:

If a player had IS-4’s engine researched, the same engine will be researched for both the new IS-4 and Object 252 (or the analogue of this engine if changed).

Radios, turrets, and suspensions will be treated in the same way. IS-4 and Object 252 will have the same modules installed as those previously mounted on old IS-4 or their analogues if changed. Guns, if changed, are likely to be treated in the same way.
All disputable issues will be solved for benefit of players.

Note: Installed equipment and modules in depot for the vehicles affected by the revisions will be sold at their buying price. Some minor changes are still possible but overall concept will remain untouched.

I'm finding the lower tiers more fun than I remember them being.

I'd rather kill myself than grind through 80 more rounds with the m3 lee. I got an email saying beta players who had over 1000 rounds played would get a free tank, but I think I was only around 800 so I probably won't be playing again.

I quit WoT, couldn't stand the grind back up to tier 10.

I learned of this while playing Cosmic Break...pretty much fell in love this game and never looked back...

I'm currently one of the more dominant Luchs player out there right now having a good headstart with the Gold + Premium Sherman and Valentine for badly needed insta cash... never underestimate a tank with a 100% crew with skills for she's a nimble little rascal that can dance around in circles (I loved the time I harassed this one isolated KV who can't land a hit on me due to his turtle speed turret... everyone just watched and didn't even bothered us almost turned into a virtual one-on-one tank fight in the middle of Malinovka and everybody else messaged everyone to ignore us and enjoy the show which they did, even go as far as make virtual Madden like commentaries and analysis... it was amusing due to the fact that all of my shots just went "DING-DING"... 1 minute before time expired, everyone including my teammates unloaded on both of us) though I certainly wish I could do something about my tank getting screwed up after a single hit from higher tier tanks...

I've been liking the Marder a lot. Big gun with great traverse. Gonna have to grind through the Hetzer to get Stug, but it seems to be harder to kill now so maybe it won't be so bad.

I sure miss all my tanks and their hardworking crew ;_;

But the hard wipe gave me precious head start to dominate early after the wipe... not to mention I already memorized nearly all possible hiding spots the enemy most likely be with 80% accuracy...

/jp/ channel is still up, no one really goes to it anymore, same deal with the clan room.

The central problem is that none of us are willing to shell out the $15 a month for a premium account to make platoons. Without those there's no real way to play together since synchronized queuing only works about 25-50% of the time (depending on number of players in those tiers, decreasing with increased numbers). Since CB is eating up the disposable income of most of the people who played, I don't see that being resolved any time soon.

I really don't mind the grind... it's more gratifying to earn them that way than pay-to-play... though I certainly wish someday there will be a way for us to custom skin our tank and have them visible to everyone... other than that... this game pretty much gets my loyalty... Though I really haven't spent much on it... just $20 from credit card and another $20 using UGC mostly to expand my garage, barracks and get 100% crew for Luchs...

Every once in a while, you get one of these matches and you leave feeling like a king among men.
