I don't think we spend over half our posts crying about things we don't like. And I prefer the phrase "objecting to." Even if we did, that makes 50% of posts that are off-topic, but you can see that they are made by people who have a genuine care for post quality and will not put up with people from all the bad boards. Compare that to a board like /v/ where 90% of the posts are by people spamming greentext, reaction images and memes.

Maybe you can get lucky and see not a single thread started by someone making a greentext story on /v/. But can you open all the threads on the front page, and find that none of the posters within are using greentext inappropriately? Maybe if you fancy your chances at winning the lottery.

I post on 5-6 boards regularly on 4chan and I would use /v/ but the board moves too fast and it's too chaotic. Still /v/ is better than /jp/ because you can get good discussions when you want to. About a month ago I decided to make a castlevania thread and it was full of nothing but castlevania posts.

You're taking /jp/ as way too serious business. If you try and police 4chan you are going to get frustrated really quick. Objecting to people spamming greentext and reaction images will only make the problem worse since half the time they are doing it on purpose.

Really, if you don't think /b/ is the worst board, something is wrong with you.

EVERY SINGLE board is the same. Just like you can have a good discussion thread on /a/ every once in a while. And so does every SINGLE board (/b/ and /soc/ aside) that has a main purpose in its description. Unfortunately, for /v/, it's full of bored /b/tards shitposting all day and night, BUT I won't deny that sometimes you may have a good thread (although I've never experienced such event since I don't play videogames). And I repeat, I won't deny its rarely chance of high quality discussion. It would be too stupid of me to base my opinion on circumstancial evidence on boards that goes like the winds.
If you don't like /jp/ don't post in it. Do you see any /jp/er on /v/ shitposting/trolling/whining about its quality? You're just going to create an argument about which board is more shitty (God help us if it's happening right at this moment).
