Regardless, LazFlamme has a really terrible BD in terms of stats, you only play her if you are a masochist or really love her. You're better off with an Accel Saber really. I personally prefer parts with good looks, so I don't recommend you to use my parts. Just focus on giving her high WLK/TEC, prioritizing WLK and play her like a LND gunner.

Depending on your style, you can choose custom mag or bazookas for weapon, but I personally recommend raid/assault rifle, or scouter rifle. Kamui staff is a good sub weapon even if you have low strength, as it can lock opponents with flinches and can easily counter hoppers, low flyers, arts and other melee with its long reach.

You can make her hop if you want, but personally I don't do it --- rather, I don't need it. You can either pick a short pair of LGs to reduce your hitbox, or a tall pair of LGs to increase your height (which gives you a better firing angle).

Gratitude for more flat-chested robots in Toybox girl, possible balances to Aquila Girl booster refill/toy missiles and discussions on the possibility of a Fractalus-associated girl. Hakumen has Izuna Kamui, C.S. is playable by herself, the Ouka mission has, well, Ouka (the same goes for Eve) and Viktor/Adone/Beezle tend to be associated with Berzelius, so it's only fair if Fractalus gets a little girl to its name. She can even have a Fractalus pulse bit as her default wonderbit, give her a relevant core attack like a few stationary crystal shields and she'd be fun to play. I don't think any other bot has a stationary shields, so being able to put up small barrier field-like shields whenever you want might be interesting, though unlike Baltheon shield or barrier fields, those may need to have fairly low hp to compensate.

I said in an earlier thread that for anything you choose there is one better for it in Garapon and that's true for all weapons or bots, the only exceptions are Destructor Girl, Baltheon (as I said and I stand by it, the Garapon version of him is SHIT), Seraph Crimrose (the only good free bot in the game), Stardust Cannon, and the Haku Sword ......

But now I'm not sure if that list must be revived. Is the Toybox Girl far better than the Destructor Girl? Yeah or nay?

There was a lot of people yelling over each other today, most of the time there isn't many people in the mumble and conversations revolve around answering questions the players have.

We had nearly 35 people in one channel today in the mumble at once, FAR more then we ever have. It caught us off guard and despite the attempts at keeping things on topic it was chaotic compared to other weeks.

Me and the mumble guys are going to work on a way to maintain order. Up to now it was just a big room with everyone in it and talking at once. We are thinking of a way where randomly selected people in the mumble have a set amount of time to talk and then it goes to the next person. Only one or a few talking at once.

Besides that, it was fun as always. Tempura showed off the beetlander head with a big head joint and the fact that the hitbox of the attack is bigger then a building.

The fundamental problem: We have people all over the world on this chat client, and the communication is not instant. In the pause that follows Tempura answering a question 3 people may decide to ask their question, hearing the silence. To the radio show listeners, it sounds like 3 people just started talking at once, but to each of the 3 speakers, it sounded like they started talking during a pause in the conversation and then 2 other jackasses interrupted.
This effect gets compounded exponentially the more people we get in there. This week, we had approximately double the users we normally have.

We do read things off of the in game CB chat, and we definitely discuss them, we just reached critical mass in an "open" channel and it all went downhill fast.


I have to admit, though, I'm getting quite frustrated with people who continually disregard our instructions to set up a push to talk key, and turn off the in-game radio (or, optimally, mute cosmic break altogether).

Aquila girl is so delicious, and I'm not just talking about how I have a thing for blondes and navels. I stand by my initial assessment of new favorite air. At level 3 and no tunes (only some accessories and a pair of Snow Vulture wings to up TEC and FLY) it's bloody amazing. Just start with the easy stuff. 'Sign Up and Confirm Email Offers' are easy if you are just getting started. You can practice a bit with the 20-40 RT surveys. Figure out a pattern and after a few of them you should be able to fly through several of them in half an hour or so.

And here's that UC to RT rant I quit making a while ago:

I don't see why people are complaining about not having UC to RT. You are limited to 50 RT per month in jpCB, with no surveys. Is that weekend 30 RT campaign still running? We'll just say you are limited to 170 RT for comparing purposes.

On the other hand on enCB, there are surveys. I can collectively get around 800 RT per month. More than four times that of jpCB. Surveys not offered in your area? This is enCB, the international version sure, but this game is targeted at English speaking customers; hence the "en" in enCB.

From a retrospect perspective, you guys have it easy.

Volcano Grenade, Ballistic Launcher, Titan Bazooka and various UC Garapon weapons too.

Nonetheless the UC selection is limited, but you must consider that it isn't much of an issue since you can get Garapon crap fairly easily even if you don't pay. It is rather distasteful that players are forced to gamble, but it is not a significant detriment and it keeps CS afloat, so I'm fine with it.

I find that playing Toybox Girl is a tad annoying due to the missile knockback. However, she is a M ART with Short Boost and Quick Land, so you can be a dick with her even without the missiles. Squidol Girl also has those carts, so you can turn her into Bugsycait v2 too.

Do surveys/UC to Rt, roll over long period of time, use that time to tune up crap you'll use in your final build, it doesn't take much to get even the rarer bots if you roll whenever they pop in weekly/daily Garapons. ENCB so far doesn't have a daily, but it'll probably get one in the near future and on JPCB you see Lop sisters, Fencer, Raystag/Beetlander and the like routinely rotated in and out of it.

I am sad that I am not able to get the exorbitant amount of RT that some of you are getting through surveys. I really don't get it. I've been doing surveys since they first introduced them and I probably haven't gotten more than 100 total. Every single "which X are you" questionnaire wants my confirmed cell phone number, but I don't have a fucking cell phone. Once you do a single insurance quote thing, and if you're lucky to get one that doesn't want to call your home phone, you're locked out of them all. The only reliable surveys are the peanut labs, but then you have to be very lucky to guess what kind of person they're looking for to even take the survey. 2 days ago I installed a game and some other program and I still haven't gotten any RT. Have you seen how weak they are against melee weapons? One run we had someone in a fencer and my red squealer pounce on her, toygirl was done in 15-20 seconds. 400+ damage per punch with stock STR is the name of the game here.

Aquila girl can be fussy to manage, often times she derps and gets stuck in a wall, burst fire and arty is instant win at that point.

Also the biggest point to remember? When fighting all 4, TAKE DOWN ONE AT A TIME. You scatter and flap about at whatever is in front of you, you have 4 bots wailing on your asses for a sustained period of time and you'll lose many, many minutes to respawn penalties. Everyone takes down Toygirl, moves to CS or bynegirl, and finishes off Aquila last, you've got concentrated fire on bots that are steadily lessening the amount of return fire you are facing.

TLDR 4 bots with 1/4 heath hit a hell of a lot harder than 1 bot that's been ignored with full health, so take them down by concentrating fire.

I'm calling it finished, for now at least. Time to grind my 100 arenas.

Air may have a maneuverability advantage, but hit them with ANY reasonable arty weapon and you strip off 50 HP easily- with tunes you can probably even go as high as 120 per hit with that Saggitary railgun. Arty damage gets a boost against air. And when air bots have maybe 400 health and they get stun locked in a Destructor's power spot spewing of box missiles, they pretty much evaporate.

If you've been running around in land bots all this time, of course you're going to get bent over and assfucked by them because airs get that same damage bonus against land.

It's all about picking your targets, or catching them without backup. Behind the flashy bright lights and PEW PEW PEW there is at least SOME mild dose of strategy, here.

Land bots are fucked to the point that you need to use Rt bots to have any chance of competing at all, and arts are almost always shredded by both untargetable air units and Rt land bots.

Maybe originally during the first few weeks of open beta the game had some semblance of balance but the whole Air-Land-Art triangle was ruined from the moment Seraph was released

Okay, I will admit that the fencer is fucking hell on wheels that most other UC land bots can barely hold a candle to, but...

Jikun lag + viper shields + rev up those torrents and get ready for some downloadan = UC only fagbuild that will assrape healing circles.

You will literally nullify 80-90% of the damage done to you simply because you are disappearing and reappearing randomly, phasing in and out of terrain like some sort of fucking poltergeist, and the viper shields will catch the rest. It's hard to hit your targets with jikun kicks- but enjoy pissing everyone the fuck off, at the very least.

You should be targeting them when they are a long ass way away- the closer they are, the more easily they eat up those "minutes of arc" by flying in circles around you. I'm talking open fire on their asses when you see the lock on circle highlighting something that has yet to emerge from the fog. Also, if you feel like you're bad at leading them (yes, you most certainly need to lead even with missiles) just wait till they are flying in a straight line towards or away from you, and suddenly it's a piece of cake to send missiles and beam weapons in.

There are players that can make themselves annoyingly hard to hit, but there is no such thing as "untargetable."

I hate to sound like a dick here, but there's an easy solution:
Don't be the one they're flying in circles around.
On the surface this sounds retarded, but if you have your ART spread out, flying in tight circles around one gives the other two ample opportunity to missile spam them to death.
A single ART with no backup can be easy pickings for anything- this is why teams that protect their ART with other airs tend to do extremely well, while teams that run off and leave tasty 1280 cost ART all alone & unprotected tend to get fucking schooled.

I most certainly do play art, but I'm not going to tell you my name since it's just going to end up with me getting griefed anyways. I use Rt bots, so you're going to disregard anything I say from here on out. Whatever. For what it's worth, I hardly ever use my seraph- in fact, I used a Tesla Coil far more often because of her stun-happy zappy gun. (and I got her from a Ro Cube, too)

There is no triangle, the type of bot doesn't matter. Explosives, not artillery, does extra damage to air. While things like missiles and large/titan/blast bazooka are only usable by arts, land builds like accel saber hoping with standard bazooka can take on airs, but won't do any extra damage to artillery despite being land since artillery only takes bonus damage from melee weapons.

Speaking of melee weapons, airs can use slayer/sword bits and attack artillery with bonus damage and not even have to aim at them, just fly above their head - the bit can attack even if the air can't aim down far enough to hit with it's guns.
Seraph circling artillery shooting ABR or whatever downward with a slayer bit out is going to deal a fair amount of damage to the artillery, if not outright win. This is especially true on maps like midnight vision where they get a very large height advantage.

Large artillery are pretty fucked in cb right now. Might as well go for a small or mid sized one and hop around to evade the airs you are supposed to be countering - though in that case, you might as well use a land hopper with a bazooka because it'll probably be faster and cost less.

Seraph with slayer bits and paralyzer lets me just stand in front of most art and just shoot at it because it stun-locks them. It's fun dropping behind an art, activating my bit and just shooting them while they freak out.

If a shot stuns or not is based on some attacker's tec vs defenders tgh equation, plus repeated shots.
Duration of the stun is based on the weapon being used.
Two consecutive hits with paralyzer should send pretty much any air downward a fair distance.

Aquila Girl's core weapon is wisp 2.0. Way too overpower and needs a nerf.

Large bazooka Destructor is still as viable as ever.

I'd record a video, but unlike clicking RMB from high above, aiming a bazooka actually requires the game to run at something more than 15FPS.

Air is too good. The only arts worth using are TBG, EVE, Albatreos, and maybe Amateus. Melee land is fucked even harder than arts against opponents with half a brain. Thankfully the average CBEN player is so horrid things like Fencers, which should be mostly useless, are actually threats.

This game is terribly balanced. A little bit a of balancing would go a long way and make it much more accessible to new players. But they'll never do anything to balance this game and instead will only keep releasing more and more powerful bots so people shell out hundreds of dollars to replace bots they've already spent hundreds of dollars on so they can stay competitive.

They buffed her because she wasn't already powerful enough with good base stats, a homing weapon with great range, and a built in Shaden BS. I suspect the real reason is that CBJP players were mad that their waifu of the month was outclassed by all the moving burst airs.
