It's hella hard to get anything done with Dorothy.

Just tried playing a handful of matches online with her, got my shit kicked in quite a number of times. I get trapped in a corner and I can't do shit about it. Doesn't help that all of Dorothy's combos are a bit on the tricky side so I find myself dropping them all the damn time outside of training.

And if you do a full charge launch, she will jump and do a kick, and during Extend Force she will follow you around and boost all sorts of things, and do her animation when you do your (her) Arcana attacks.

/jp/ have always liked fighters, ever since Japanese "anime-esque" arcade games wasn't "/a/ enough" during the split.
And that it expanded to include doujin/console fighters is by no means weird, with the ports and all.

It has always been there in /jp/ since its conception, before even.
Just not as much in your face as some other stuff, like Idols for instance, with their chain threads. (though they do condense their threads, which is great)

Their sponsors love to promote their new games at EVO, and they also believed in AH3 enough to bring it over.
I would not be surprised if it would end up at EVO eventually.

They are both huge, yet small. Though Catherine is unarguably fast.

The quality of game does not matter to Evo at all. It's all about which franchise had the biggest marketing budget.

The characters are actually fairly balanced, if only because everyone has some ridiculous tactics. Being able to choose an arcana to go with your character helps with bad match ups and gives you a lot of options they might be lacking.

Weiss, Akane, Scharlachrot, Saki & Kamui seem to be the most popular characters. Especially Weiss.

Just started, using Fire&Love Saki and Love&Thunder Weiss. Haven't had the chance to practice more with Petra or Lilica yet.

It's getting harder to release physical versions of niche Japanese games since American retailers are becoming reluctant to carry them.

They didn't bother to dub the game, which is of course fine, and I imagine if they released physical copies it wouldn't be as cheap as $30.

I'm not complaining at all and I have no problem with what they did.

I am going to show my support to Zen United.
Word is that they will get a physical copy ready, add an additional voice track, and possibly even some kind of limited edition pack.
