I like most of what EastNewSound does, but I'm particular to their stuff with nayuta at vocals.
As for favourite genres, I have to say I like orchestral the best. It was my introduction to Touhou remixes, and will remain my favourite. That's followed by that fusion of metal and symphony that the Japanese seem to have such a good handle on. I'm also a fan of the piano, so I also enjoy Touhou piano renditions.

I nicosound'd it and found most of their arranges, the long ones (7 mins or more) are apparently the most masterpiece-ish, though I didn't like how there's whole 3 minutes wasted on a single repetitive tune sometimes, despite that, I found the Nuclear Fusion arrange and-

HOT DAMN.

What do they add to make the last half of the song's sound like that?! It sounds literally from heaven (or hell in this case), I'm pretty sure it's just not echo effects or one or two extra instruments added.

Hello everyone.

Meirin showed me the previous thread which left me pretty speechless and with a feeling of guilt on my conscious, so I think it's appropriate to leave here a message on my whereabouts. I didn't expect that my departure would end up being noticeable to the point where users would ask about me and that the threads we had were so successful. I always enjoy reading opinions on circles and albums in these threads since music brings up different emotions, good or bad, in every individual person. Sometimes it may even expand horizons beyond the genres you enjoy if you try to appreciate the differences. I know it did for me at least several times over the years. It's nice to see this happen.

With that being said, I wanted to say that everything's fine with me, but there are a couple of things that I need to take care of, so I'm on indefinite hiatus right now I guess. But rest assured that it is only temporary. Gaming music has always been a huge passion of mine and I'm glad that there's a place like /jp/ where we can share our distinctive and odd interests with each other. It feels like a second home. The least I can do to contribute to the board in any way is by giving suggestions and providing music to the best of my knowledge. And it's always nice to help someone out.

Thank you for all these nice posts in that thread. It's very flattering.

I really like Yuuhei Satellite. Lovely vocals. Not any particular favorites, but aside from that, TAMusic, Kitsune's Workshop, and Silver Forest are nice.

Was on an ALiCE'S EMOTiON kick for a while, but they have less melodic stuff than other circles. My favorite genre is the melodic variety of electronic music, with or without vocals. A lot of it is very dance-ish. I really wish my Japanese were significantly better so I could appreciate more of the vocal songs I have, though. It's actually one of my primary motivations at this point.

月時計~ルナ・ダイアル from TAMUSIC'S album 東方弦奏響2. One of the albums I like.

I probably love a lot of circles that I can't name them all at the drop of a hat, but here's some stuff from the top of my head.

TAMUSIC, WAVE, Music Pandora, Smalt Erz, t=NODE, Virus Key. These circles make either Orchestral, Violin, Piano. Smalt Erz and Music Pandora makes really relaxing arranges, fit for teatime.

NEUTRAL2, or =NEUTRAL= is also nice. Artists I like from them are nazz-can and especially Doppelman. I still can't forget his Gensokyo the Gods Loved folk arrange.

Folk stuff is NEUTRAL2 if just one track counts (I haven't heard any other folk stuff from them aside from Doppelman's), 二胡Ryo (mostly Erhu stuff) and Floating Cloud. Oh and K-waves.

More to come.

Oh yes, I forgot about those two, especially Whisper Records. Aside from their Phantasmagoria album, Wheel of Green and Over S was lovely, but that's not Touhou anymore. I'm still crying over O-LIFE's Cirno album. Adding vocals was a terrible decision. Oh yeah, I love K-waves too, but most of the time they just replace the instruments in the original track to make it sound folk-like.

Forgot 東方編曲管弦楽団(TAO) too. Definitely my favorite when it comes to Waltz-y stuff. I forgot Tutti Sound too. His new Reitaisai album was really nice. Oh yeah, Foxfactory.
