Some of the BGM haven't been used elsewhere, and while SONGS FROM age 2 has Supplement's Muv Luv Duelist OP on it, and looking around I can't find those on any other OST or Single releases.

I keep hearing people on /a/ and /v/ tell me this game has a scene even more powerful than Clannad's overall story. Does the rest of the game live up to that scene, or is it just a generic horror-shonen?

Though if you're talking about the scene I'm thinking of, it, and the stuff that immediately follows it are probably the most depressing thing I've ever seen in any form of fiction, and likely the emotional "low point" of the entire game, so it's not like the entire game is depressing like that. I really don't think a Muv-Luv anime would work. First off we have the fact that it has been almost 5 years since MLA so it won't be a hot new thing and most people that want to read probably already has.
Secondly Extra won't apply anymore, the generic harem genre is not the same anymore so it won't feel that authentic along with the fact that Extra would take up at least 13 episodes by itself, more if they do the multiple character routes which is necessary to understand what Sumika really did to all those cheating Takerus.
Thirdly how would they handle Unlimited? It is not like they can just cut it out as it is essential to Takeru's development.
Last but not least how many episodes do you think MLA takes up by itself? 30? 40? It would be a real cram job to make this a 26 episode anime that's for sure.

For Unlimited you animate everything except the diverging ending, deal with it in Alternative via multiple "flashbacks" from Takeru's POV. Another 6-10 episodes maybe.

There is no set resolution for the CGs, almost all of them have different sizes (much larger than the resolution displayed ingame, by the way). And all the ero scenes got new CGs where you can't see nipples, but I don't think that's what all-ages is supposed to mean. Not sure what's going to happen with the 360 port, but a lot of the stuff in here can't possibly get released in a console.

The true meaning of NTR means that YOU ARE THE PROTAGONIST AND YOUR LOVE INTEREST IS TAKEN FOR YOU. It's ironic, because you think that you're saying you're taking someone else's SO away while you're just, in fact, being cuckolded yourself. Yes, NTR can be used to indicate stories where cuckolding happens, but the main point is that the main character and by extention the reader is the one being cuckolded. The trend of replying with "I'd NTR him/her" is even worse, as it's just plain wrong and only serves to confuse the people who are reading.

The NTR word was never meant to serve as an implied synonym of "fucking her even though she has a boyfriend already"! Why people started using it that way is beyond me. Nope. Alternative V is what happens at the end of Unlimited where several hundred thousand people escape to some planet in some nearby star system. While the rest of mankind launches a massive counterattack and G Bomb the fuck out of the planet in order to try and wipe out the BETA. TDA takes place after this.
And yeah Chronicles 01 didn't have much but it's worth a read especially TDA00. Chicken Divers and Rain Dancers are pretty short but they're pretty good too. It's not much in the way of content but production values are pretty good especially TDA and Rain Dancers.

I took "your world" to mean the peaceful world without any BETA. All Extra endings then are the different (timelines) "worlds" which branched of "your world" (previously I used "universe" instead of "timeline"). "Alternative Takeru" is Sumika End Extra Takeru + memories of Meiya/Ayamine/Chizuru/Tama End Extra Takeru, plus the accumulated experience of looping Unlimited. Those memories from Extra are not his personal experience, they're memories plugged into Sumika End Extra Takeru because he lost almost all his memories of Sumika when he was dragged into Unlimited. However, all of the memories he had in Unlimited WERE his past experiences in prior loops. Basically, he's unknowingly cheated on Sumika an infinite number of times, but had his memories completely reset whenever he died in Unlimited. He also has a handful of latent memories from the Takeru native to Unlimited, specifically the PTSD from getting killed by BETA.

Takeru becomes "Alternative Takeru" when his strong personal feelings for the Unlimited heroine (presumably the one you pursue in Alternative) allow him to retain most of his memories and training when he last died in Unlimited, but Sumika's jealosy still wiped all specific memories he had of the girls. Ironically, this passion for the Unlimited heroine allows him to rediscover his original love for Sumika, and he promptly forgets he ever loved a girl in Unlimited.

Both Takeru and Sumika in Alternative are "sinful", having done horrible things to one another, those around them and the world without knowing it.

You are getting confused by ammy's failure to QC everything after Sadogashima, as well as Higurashi. Kasumi isn't saying what you think she's saying.

Sumika's wish was "I want to see Takeru-chan". That's very vague will and space didn't know how to respond, so it pulled flash memories from all of Extra's routes and dumped them onto a base, Takeru from Sumika's Route. Kasumi tells you Sumika picked a Takeru that already loved a Sumika because in all worlds Takeru loving her is her greatest desire. This is the synthesis she's talking about - even if Takeru started out as Sumika Route Extra Takeru, by the time he manifests in Unlimited, he's got memories from all other routes and is no longer merely Sumika's Takeru.

Supplement is also non-canon, as is Altered Fable despite what people would like to believe. It creates the impression Alternative Takeru didn't originally exist in Extra, but he was definitely pulled out of an Extra timeline because Extra keeps trying to pull him back. If a duplicate was created in Unlimited, and the original is still around as seen in Supplement, Extra wouldn't try to pull him back at all. He also wouldn't disappear at the end when so many people are conscious of him.

As much as I like the idea of Unlimited Takeru dying in the Takemikazuchi after killing thousands of BETA, all the images referencing his death have him using another mech. Can't be appreciated in this pic from the Unlimited manga, but I've also seen that same scene in some official PV and the colours of the mech were clearly a Gekishin's. Then again, shitty mech and PTSD aside, knowing Takeru he most likely wiped a ton of BETA anyway.
