Are there any penalties spirit-wise for dying? If there aren't, than that means it's more profitable to kill yourself after a certain amount of consecutive extends to reset the life scale so you get more extends.

Don't you get increasing points for each extend you get while immortal?
Or are you taking that into account... I really can't say I know much about HELLSINKER scoring.

1. Use minogame.
2. Use solidstate
3. Use bombs indiscriminately, they recharge.
4. Use her second level sub weapon while charging main shot. The ring makes you invincible.

I don't even know what's going on in this game. I don't even know why stuff won't die. I should probably play for more than a minute though, I'll look it up.

The immortality bonus does not reset after dying, but it might be penalized. I'll have to go experiment.

I don't think there's any tactical suicide in the highest spirit replay, but they might just not have thought of it yet.

There's some invincible enemies/parts of enemies, and some stuff that just takes a LOT of fire to kill.
If there's a percentage ticking down on them then they're getting hurt.

Minogame does not have a highest score in Full Sequence, Ex 1, or Ex 2. She's good for survival, but absolutely SUCKS for scoring.

I honestly still don't get it. There's these enemies at the start that keep pushing me away but never die and I just don't get it because I want to destroy them but I can't. Except for that one time I did manage to kill them, although I have no idea how it even happened.

If something glows blue instead of red when you hit it, it means it can't be destroyed.

Can you change that somehow? There's this one enemy in particular that's like that, it was some thing surrounded by a huge circular wall, usually it never dies but I managed to destroy it once and I don't know how.

I don't really know how to hit it though. Once I went right through the wall somehow, another time I remember one piece of the wall actually breaking and it kind of surprised me.
