This thread made me realize that I have no talent at anything. I never really thought about it until now. ;_;

I really want to be good at piano, but I cant. I play every night for hours, I practice songs and memorize them, yet I have never perfected a single song. I have spent hundreds of dollars on equipment. I have a Korg X-50, a Yamaha p-85, and a Casio Privia px-130. The privia gets the most use out of all of them.

I cannot write music either. I've taken classes, I've read through countless books, but I cannot pick it up sadly. I figure I have some kind of music dyslexia, which is funny considering how easy it was for me to pick up Japanese.
I've been at this obsessively for the past two years. Other than that, I have absolutely no talent. Before that, I tried my best to reach tourneyfag level a few videogames, but failed at that too. It was worse when I was still in highschool. Everyone would praise me for being so smart, but I had terrible grades and did the bare minimum to get by.

To make things worse, I only started piano because I could not play the guitar for the life of me. Kai Hansen and Michael Kiske were fellow countrymen who I aspired to be like. I have a horrid voice as well.

My skill might be making others feel better about their situation.
