And it's not as simple as pressing a button, either. You have to keep an eye on the waffle iron so that you don't burn your waffles.
Also, waffles have nooks and crannies which can hold lots of syrup and other toppings, thus making them superior to pancakes.
Truly, waffles are the food of the gods themselves.
