they are one of the few bands where i end up loving 90 % of the songs on their eps/albums

i don't like the one you posted that much, i'm not much a fan of the funky sound. but the chorus is strong as always. they're songwriting is so catchy it hurts

>> No.7127237

Very yes.

Love them, but I liked the sound on their very first EP シフォン主義 best.
They'll probably never get back to that, though.

sugar pop shit for anime addicts. music without substance, it's like jerking off if you don't even have to move your hand. interchangeable, faceless, artificial artists blown to superstardom by their pathetic mindless otaku fanbase. songs filtered through dozens of autotune instances so that nobody involved in the process needs to know how to play an instrument anymore. the pure essence of bad music.

read magazines, listen to all kinds of music frequently, read the internet, go to concerts for at least 5 years and spend a lot of time with music. then come back and we can talk about it.

It's not work, music is a hobby, it is entertainment and enjoyment. if you consider this work you shouldn't be asking for advanced listening advice in the first place

I completely agree, but I'd also comment about how it also isn't something to be elitist about.

HELL jea, it's like asking someone online for help and their like "fucking google it!" when it would take you hours to google it when they could save you time by being nice and just giving you the answer.

Are you trolling? It's not very effective...

>> No.7127365

>>7127341
no, what i was getting at is that it's simply impossible to discuss something with someone who isn't nearly on your level in terms of knowledge about music. you can't discuss biochemistry with a doctor either, if you dont know about it.

>elitism
not at all. i don't think badly or judge people who have, for a lack of finding another word, "shallow" or superficial taste and interest in music. i do not think my taste is absolute. elitism would come to mind if someone knows exactly the same bands as i do, but he would say he likes x (while i would like y) and then i would say x is complete shit and his taste is shit. but i would never do that.

but i also don't have an obligation to teach anyone about music, since i'm not a music journalist.

>> No.7127407

>>7127365
That guy wasn't asking to discuss music with you. He just wanted to know what you listen to. It doesn't take any knowledge about music to listen to music.

>> No.7127426

>>7127407
of course it does. he just proved it. he didn't have the knowledge, so he asked me about my playlists. without knowledge, he wouldn't know what to *listen* to.

>> No.7127448

Of course I like it. If it's the best, than it's better than... oh wait, I don't like rock bands, only circles.
