/tv/ isn't very helpful, so maybe /jp/ is more knowledgeable.

Any other recommendations for Japanese films like My Darling is a Foreigner?

I've seen a lot of other Japanese films, but they are mostly Yakuza based or set in medieval Japan.

The only two modern films I've seen are Love and Pop and Love Exposure.

Any other good "slice of life" Japanese films?

You probably won't get many helpful responses here either.

Why not? It's about Japanese culture, and /tv/ sucks tonight.

You should try some J-Drama's OP, that will probably mostly likely resemble what that movie was like.

I haven't seen it actually and am interested to a certain degree.

>> No.7125630

I have always found Korean dramas/movies to be better than japanese films. But they of course have the best manga and anime.

/jp/ would be better titled "Extremely Niche Japanese shit", than any of the names it has had so far.

Wrong. Now beat it, fag. No one here watches that trash. Delete your garbage thread on the way out.

>slice of life

If that's what you want you should try "Departures". It's pretty good.

That shit looks like they were all made in abandoned warehouses and disused schools.

>> No.7125651

That post makes perfect sense. You just seem to be unfamiliar with 4chan's interface and what he was implying.

Obviously not, but that still does not change the fact that /jp/ is part of the Japanese Culture part of 4Chan.

He knows he's wrong so he is trying to be "obscure" to hide his fail.

So are /a/, /c/, /cm/, /w/, /m/, etc. Maybe you should try posting this thread on one of those boards instead.
