While I can accept that you might SUSPECT that something of that nature is going on, but it'll just be one theory in a long line of them until you get to see Kid-34's true face.

I literally followed someone's topic on it where he figured it out. And he's not the kind of guy who would go out of his way to look up spoilers just to look badass, he was trying to enjoy the game.

And that was without the English version translation error that blatantly tells you that Kid's routes take place in 2034 and Takeshi's routes take place in 2017

Well, even without that blatant spoiler, the 'hint' they make involves European Vs. Japanese dates, and someone from the west is much more likely to catch on to that than someone who grow up in Japan playing it, so you'll probably figure that out regardless of what version you're playing if you're a western player. And once you know that, you're on your way to figuring out a lot.

Though he never figured out that the game would bring in what is essentially the player to solve everything. I don't think anyone would.

It's

I actually thought that the whole game took place in 2034, and not just one perspective.

Because seriously, that's damn silly. You'd have to have some familiarity with other stories that pull POV tricks like that to figure it out.

I guess I also paid way too much attention to the person count, which, in addition to You's explanation of the Third Eye, tricked me into thinking some kind of alternate reality situation was going on.

>>7116648

Ah, I think I know what's going on. It's because of the order he played the routes in.

Never do what he did. Always play both the Kid routes before even touching a Takeshi route, as it preserves a lot of the initial confusion and makes HIMMEL and Coco out to be this huge mystery when they really aren't if you've played Takeshi's routes beforehand.

I don't know, I disagree with the route order you like. Instead of Coco being the mystery at first, Sara becomes this strange figure that disappears after the beginning. Also, saving Sara for last saves one of the best reveals in the first four routes for last, and it leaves you familiar with the important things for Coco's route (sort of like doing Torta's route last before Al Fine in Symphonic Rain).
