Most likely not, but I'm slowly working my way up the young adult science fiction/fantasy ladder. The pay isn't terribly good at the moment, but my latest advance was around $50,000, and I can generally write a novel every 5-6 months, so about two per year that I submit to my agent, who attempts to get it published. I'm working on two series, one fantasy, one scifi.

I have a pen for my science fiction one, though.

I'm not stupid enough to mention my works on 4Chan, but if you want decent science fiction/fantasy, I'd suggest the following.

L.E. Modesitt's Corean Chronicles, Saga of Recluce, and the Spellsong Cycle are all excellent scifi/fantasy series.

Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time is decent as well, but I'm more of a Modesitt fan, personally.

Essentially, anything by published by TOR is decent scifi/fantasy.

Terry Pratchett's Discworld is most excellent as well for its comedic value.
