I like Star Sapphire... Girls like her, actually I generally seem to like.
I'm not entirely sure how I'd describe their similarities, but it's always those long, black-haired girls I tend to like.
Like Tomoyo from Cardcaptor Sakura or Hanako from KS (not saying I like or hate KS, just, she's the character I happened to most like from KS...) or that one lesbo girl from He is My Master who's name I don't remember because He is My Master was kinda generic and I was basically only watching it so I could fap to it...
But Star Sapphire I think is my favourite.
She seems so sensible and happy, yet at the same time, there's a mischievious side to her. She seems like she might be open-minded too, I mean, you could say something stupid around her and it seems she would pass it off easily... well, maybe not that exactly, but she gives off a relaxed impression like that... I'm not sure how to explain it.

Physically speaking, I would agree personally that Star doesn't has as interesting an appearance as either Luna or Sunny.
(Incidentally, with appearance in mind I would rank them roughly Luna > Sunny >Star.. maybe Sunny > Luna > Star... , all otherwise, it's Star>Sunny>Luna)
But overall, I like Star's character better than Luna or Sunny.
I'm not sure how to explain it, but I really like Star.

Choices can be tricky; It's kind of messy, the spellcard rules make it impossible for characters to kill each other in danmaku, to which all battles starting from eosd are forced to be like the most technical game mechanics don't really apply so don't bring that crap in.
