There's a few horror VNs but none are really noteworthy besides Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and Umineko no Naku Koro ni. They aren't really all that frightening either, truthfully. More of a thriller if anything. Might be more but I rarely touch this genre because I don't easily get frightened by media.

Equally frightening for some....others not so much. Either way steer clear of these if you're a normal human being.

The best thing about that was the scene where the girl has the guillotine (with her loved one imprisoned in it) rope in her mouth and she's being fucked from behind and she's struggling to not moan and let it go,

Why does guro rarely get translated?

>> No.7066612

>>7066610
Because those games also happen to have half their script about endless rapes and no one likes translating ero, especially rape.

That can't be true. Who wouldn't like translating all those ridiculous sound effects?

>> No.7066636

Well it doesn't help that 90% of eroge translators are female.

Even if it were males, they'd be stopping work to fap every 10 minutes.

That and the sorts of words and things in ero scenes are just a nightmare in translation.
