this has been my fantasy ever since I was like 15 yrs old.

I like the idea of this, but sadly it would not work for me.

As a master, I think it would bother me to have a relative stranger around the house, constantly. I suppose that they would not be a stranger after a while, but I would probably discover that I did not care for them. Or if I did care for them, I would not care for the fact that I cared for them. I've always felt it is lonelier to have people about that you don't connect with than it is to be alone.

As a maid, I would initially be fervent in my cleaning and organizing, but slowly slip into negligence as the tasks became monotonous. The neglect would sporadically be broken by brief periods of renewed vigor.
