I have recently acquired a nice Braun electric shaver with a long hair trimmer on it. I can now shave my entire body in about 10 minutes, completely avoiding the appearance of those nasty red bumps. It's glorious.

OP, you should realize that there's no such thing as a "male razor" or a "female razor"; they market the same damn razor with a different colored handle as "for men" and "for women". If you're having troubles, you may want to try one with a different number of blades or something.

I don't understand how people have so much trouble with this; I just use cheap-ass single-blade bic razors in the shower, no shaving cream, and hardly ever get cut. The trick is that you don't push down with your razor; that gets skin pushed up towards the blade. Just pull the blade across the surface, not down, while cleaning out the hairs that get stuck in the razor as necessary.

I'm a pretty hair guy, but I can still get most of the hair off in about 20 minutes in the shower. It's all about technique and practice. I use a normal 3-blade Mach razor and body wash.

One thing I'd recommend: Shave when your hair is sticking straight up, like when you get goosebumps. It results in a much closer shave.

I now have the odd desire to spank one of you hairless /jp/ posters.

yeah fuck razors, they leave hideous irritating bumps that are worse than the hair. electric shaver works alright for the face, but always misses some hairs on the neck no matter how many times i go over it. havn't found anything good for the body...

Don't listen to the haters, I've done it and there are no disadvantages to a smooth ass. On the other hand it's not really that sensitive of an area so you won't feel much difference either.

Anyway, I just want to mention that you can make your shaves much better by exfoliating prior to the shave. If you epilate or wax/sugar, make sure to exfoliate frequently in between sessions, as otherwise you'll get ingrowns, and those are not fun. Moisturize after shaving, and put baby powder on any area that rubs together (armpit, groin, between buttcheeks) so that you don't chafe.

Gilette blades are all the same. For men, women, it doesn't matter. They have the same number of blades, the space between them is the same and the angle of the blades is also the same across all razor blades. I tried, I used a range of them a year ago and compared. Shit's all the same and the male ones work just as good as the lady shavers. Oor bad in your case. I only tried Gilette, not Wilkinson, but I bet you ten they are all the same as well.

Buy women's razors. Seriously. Men's razors are designed to give you the option of stubble, you'll find shaving much easier with a razor designed for women. When I started using a woman's razor I started passing far more often (if you have silky smooth legs you don't need to wear pantyhose and more people are going to see you as a girl if you have bare legs and a skirt than pantyhose and a skirt, trust me). As a guy I'm a skinny weakling who stays indoors all day. As a woman (or at least what people think is a woman) I can go to bars and get flirted with. I just want other anons to know how good it feels to have a man flirt with you.

If you have trouble shaving your groin, lightly rub your scrotum until it becomes firm and round, and then you'll find it far easier.
