When I look ten years into the future, I'm terrified. Right now I am enjoying life, and don't give a fuck if I'm a pathetic 22 year old kissless virgin without a job, only barely passing college so I don't get kicked out my parents house. Sometimes it gets boring, but then I just sleep more until something entertaining is released, which usually doesn't take too long.

But when I see myself doing this in ten more years, in my mid thirties, it makes me want to off myself. I have it pretty bad though, got kicked out of the house at twenty for not doing the whole college thing. Truth being I didn't finish high school but I managed to lie my way through it and my parents didn't find out until a few years ago. Anyhow, I tried to scratch up and existence of my own, applied for every dead end job I could walk to. Get a few, never manged to hold one.

From there I spent a few months wandering, spending what little money I was given before by my parents. Eventually it ran out, and I did the only thing someone with no friends, no job, and no contacts could do, I went back home. At first I moved in, but I had to stay in the basement, and only use the backdoor. I was told it was only temporary until I found a job. I lived like that for two years, when I finally got kicked out again, after begging my mom telling her I had nowhere to go, I was finally allowed to live in the garage.

I've lived here for nearly six years. In a tent, next to their car. Neither has said anything to me in around two years. I have no hopes, no prospects, no job, and no future. Just a space heater, a laptop, and an old fridge. Cheers anon~

I'm 23 and I've never felt like that. I did graduate high school and went on to community college, finished my Associate's, then never went on from there. I'm not sure if that difference would have anything to do with it.
