Great... what about spell cards that you never ever failed then? The only ones I have perfect records on (across all characters) are Rumia's midboss card and Cirno's midboss card on hard.

I've only ever played one game of Perfect Cherry Blossom...would someone mind explaining the very basics of what a spell card is/why you would capture one?

I don't think I've ever captured the Prismriver's final spell. I can never resist Master Sparking the whole group of them for MEGA-DAMAGE

Extra Patchouli second spell and that crossing bullets Remilia spell on any fucking difficult, fuck those spells.There are a few others like the rainbow colored UFO spell from Nue and some of the Koishi spells, but I haven't really tried them enough.

Fujiyama Volcano. If I could do Fujiyama Volcano, then I would be able clear Extra. Actually, I would be able to clear Extra if I actually played then game instead of fapping.

A lot of Hijiri's non spell cards and some of Nue's teach you how to deal with simultaneous strait lines of bullets. You just have to imagine that each line stretches out infinitely and keep out of each array's line of fire.

the best tip for PCB is to not play it. Practice every other game. Come back to PCB and you'll anhilate it without even trying and wonder why you had difficulty at all. You might want to get a couple general patterns/pathways down like St. 6 midboss ageless obsession and maybe some of Yuyucow's spells but that should be it.

you almost NEEDto do it on Stage 6 EoSD near the beginning when those fairies shit out circles of bullets. Lining yourself up so that one ring passes vertically to your left and right will enable you to move your hitbox up/down in ajustment for the spray of diagonal bullets fired by the circle on the opposite corner from whence you are.

Focusing on one array of bullets insofar as imagining a safety zone you can move, then moving in it to avoid the second (near simunltaneous) wave is more effective than dealing with two at once in your head.

It's kind of messy, the spellcard rules make it impossible for characters to kill each other in danmaku, to which all battles starting from eosd are forced to be like the most technical game mechanics don't really apply so don't bring that crap in.

I was having so much trouble in either StB or DS on a particularly difficult spell. I decided to finish my parade of failure by moving the monitor closer to me and instantly captured it.

Green bullets are a LOT easier when you move to the lower left or right corner. Instead of diagonal-and-diagonal movement, it turns into some bullets coming straight down and some bullets coming near-straight from the side. WAY easier to dodge, and they're spread out a bit more too.

Now, that part at the very end of the Lunatic version.... ugh.

It saddens me that I have attempted Final Master Spark over 1100 times with every team combined and have never captured it, but I try it with Yukari solo and capture it three times in a row.
