I tried to put something together for Nazrin. Was going to go get cheesecake for her... But I failed at that. I've got a herniated disc from... sitting too much I guess. Ironically, getting treatment and physical therapy for it has made me more active than I was before I got injured. I didn't have time to go to the Cheesecake Factory to pick up a slice before it got crazy busy, and I'm unable to stand for a long time so standing in such a long line was out of the question. Baking a cheesecake is also far beyond the scope of my cooking ability. The strange thing though is that a small cheesecake from the supermarket mysteriously appeared in my fridge... I guess Nazrin foresaw my incompetence and compensated for it. It's good to know she's got my back at least. We shared the cheesecake. It was still a great Valentine's day. I promised her I'd do better next time, although I know she only cares about our happiness together, not the gifts I give her. I wanted to get her a strawberry pie or at least a proper cake, but I couldn't find a place near my res that sold either of those items so I settled for strawberry ice cream. We shared the ice cream and listened to Tablet from her latest CD, while discussing how the next movie is going to turn out. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves.

I tried to get a nice sparkling wine for "her", but I could only afford a cheap cognac and a few beers. I was a little worried when I first checked out /jp/ on Valentine's day, but it looks like things calmed down enough for us to enjoy the usual traditionsans the compilation thread.
I hope that everyone can take it a bit more easy next time, but I understand that feelings towards certain groups can spoil things.
