How did you get through stage 3 to begin with? The defense was supposed to be foolproof!

I didn't really care too much for the SA cast compared to the most of the others. But oh well, more delicious pictures for me so I'm not complaining.

SA offered a lot of exotic possibilities.

This was a great way to get more pictures for these, my number of Okuu images skyrocketed last week when the badass artists started plucking their galleries in the last moment.

I still can't understand how people can like Yugi.

Actually SA was always some kind of "odd touhou game" for me. The cast is weird and only 3 characters are nice (my opinions of course) but the whole SA thing feels so odd to me, like a bastard child when put next to the other games.

But if anything, MoF is the odd one with its relatively light story and a 66%-god cast. SA is a return to 6-8's dark, suffocating feel.

Honestly the worst Touhou games in my opinion are MoF, SA and then UFO.

You mean undergroundness? Because Imperishable Night was a bit gloomy too, what with it being night and all. Mountain of Faith was great in terms of atmosphere. So colourful it made my heart break.

People like Yuugi because fanon turned her into a woman with one too much testosterone and tits the size of 10 watermelons. Also the SA cast is like that because they're underground people, unlike the other games. The underground turns people into weirdos and some go mad with power and destruction and shit.

SA felt a bit weird to me also. Just seeing the rocks flying at you in the first stage immediately felt weird to me.

I did enjoy the IN mood though. Actually, it's the game which setting I like the most.

I didn't much like MoF but it does have one of my favorite casts. I think SA by comparison was a better game with a worse cast, the only characters I like are the Komeiji sisters and Okuu.

Even though MoF is considered to be one of the worse games in the series, I played through it the most because I loved a lot of other things about it. The music was great, each track fit extremely well in the game, I liked most of the characters, for some reason it felt strangely refreshing playing through each stage because of it.

Those are the only characters I like too. As for MoF... well, Hina and maybe Nitori.

I think the battle was won by stage bosses three and under. I'm pretty sure Nitori, Hina, and the Akis together have nowhere near close to as much art as, well, Parsee alone, and almost certain if you add in Yuugi backing her up.

Is there a way to sort the contest pictures by popularity? I'm going through the contest entries but I can't read runes and I want to know if there's a better way to see which pictures were the game-winners.

I don't hate SA, heck I hate no Touhous, but I do like MoF better. I really do. Komeiji Sisters are adorable and Parsee is cute and all, but I find both Okuu and Orin to be pretty bland. I like the Moriya Family alone a lot more than I like the SA cast as a whole. SA cast just don't just tug my heartstrings the same way as the MoF cast do.

I was a bit sad MoF lost, especially since they were in the lead for a while and I got my hopes up, but agreed, it was a fair fight. I'm really happy I got a lot of nice pictures anyway.
