No, its pretty much a standard Figma elbow joint and as you can "hide" then in some Figmas its much harder when they are supposed skin(tight).

That being said, I normally fucking HATE bootleggers AND the people who buy them, especially of easily-obtainable lines like figma, but don't fucking blame the sculptor if he can't satisfy even like 1% of the demand, and someone else offers a way to get something that could otherwise be literally impossible to attain. Recasts =/= bootlegs either, an actual bootleg figurine is one that's been painted and boxed and they are trying to pass off as the real thing. When it's obviously a recast from the get-go and there is no attempting to fool you, then it's more like a convenience service. I've seen on some figs right in the paperwork they will give credit to the original sculptor for the design too.

They're freelance sculptors, often NEETs just like you. They don't live glamorous lives and probably hold shitty jobs just like you.

They sculpt for years if they're not naturally gifted and guess what? They don't own the property. They have to ***pay*** the license holders a "one-day rate" to sell intellectual property that isn't theirs. You know what else? They pay out of their pockets for casting. Want to make a hundred (lol) of something with toxic materials for nothing? You think that shit is free? HELL NO.

So what does this mean?

They pay out of their pockets.

Serious? they are the Trading Figures of Nendos ... the attachment arm breaks easily, the only thing they are better is they are smaller and take less room.

Nendos had issues but at least they are more stable and been around longer so they learned and corrected many of the inicial issues.

That Cirno nendoroid displayed at WF was hideous.

GSC did a great job with every other Touhou nendoroid- all of them were genuinely too cute for words. Compared to the original character, the nendoroid ver managed to be even cuter.

However, for Cirno, the nendoroid form looked horrible. Something about the head size and shape, or facial expression- it was just so bad. Maybe its the fact that they gave her teeth too.
It wasn't as cute as Cirno at all.

This either means that GSC fucked up the sculpt, or Cirno just can't get any cuter no matter what form. I'm betting on the first one.

So recently, I was notified by Amiami that one of my preorders are available. However, being the impulsive buyer I am, I noticed that I've got a whole bunch of separate single-figure orders, meaning each one would be separately charged shipping. So, I replied asking them to group up a few of them which release around the same time together, which they did.

So I was wondering, to avoid pestering them in the future, is there a way I can have them add any new orders I make to existing orders when I put down the orders, or will I have to bother them with an email each time and (possibly?) risk a blacklist?

Yeah, amiami's fantastic. They'll work with you. I have them compile all my orders at the end of the month. If I add stuff during the month, even if it's in-stock, I just ask them to add it to my end-of-the-month order in the comments section at the time that I place my order.
