i also have a cat. originally we had 4, but one died because of bone cancer and i had to throw the 2 little ones away in a random park because they didn't want to use their fucking cat toilet and peed on carpets, couch etc.. I abandoned them on a rather warm night in early january and it wasn't that easy for me. At first i had to force one into that fucking cat-cage, which gave me some nasty scratches on the hands, then i had to go to the park and i had to wait until noone was in sight. then i leaned myself over a nearby fence,opened the cage and turned it upside so the little cat fell into the grass. Then i quickly got home and put the other one in (who was still scared because of the ruckus when i caged the first one), got back to the park and threw her over another fence, but this time on the exact opposide of the park (around 800meters difference). Then i finally got home, but i felt a bit guilty afterwards, especially the next day when it started to snow as fuck outside

Haha i also killed a hamster when i was in elemental school. During that time i was always kinda yandere and one time i just stood up in the middle of the math lession, grabbed the class hamster and threw it against the wall with all my might. Damn man, there were blood and bones everywhere and a few girls fainted. also i continued to kill lot's of smaller animals when i was in middle school. I had a small hideout next to a river and slaughtered whatever i got into my little hands, for example frogs, little birds and a few cats, but cats and birds were really hard to catch and usually they fought back heavily until i put them into a bag. I even refined my killing methods - at first i just strangled them or put them under water until they stopped moving, but then i dissected them alive with knives, put them on a hook, sliced their throat a bit and watched as they exsanguinated, tried to flame them with lighter fuel or crushed them with concrete bricks for example.

The first thing I killed was when I was 13, my neighbours new kitten, damn I was jealous that they had a cat, I caught it in my garden and took out out to the woods wrapped in some cloth. I held it down and bashed it's brains in with a rock. No one ever caught me.

Later I killed my cousins rabbits by stomping on their heads when everyone else was inside.

I haven't killed anything for a while, though.

I have a male black green-eyed cat, named "Alarm" due to him meowing a lot when he wants something.
He spends the nights outside just being a male cat, - you know, fucking pussies, annoying neighbors, running from foxes and fighting a purely white cat, which I find slightly amusing.
As for days, he just sleeps on my bed beside me, just being a lazy fuck, with occasional leaves for some food or a dump.
He's also the friendliest cat I've ever known. If you just show him your palm, he almost instantly starts purring and comes closer for some petting.
I love the little guy, and I'm sure I'd cry for days if he died.

I doubt I could stomach the mess. Also, I'm not motivated enough to get a job let alone doing something that could get me killed instead. Assuming you fuck up, or even if you don't there's the risk of life imprisonment, and don't give me that shit about how you'd just kill yourself. First you'd need to know they're on your ass, and second even at the best of times it's a very uncertain thing to do.

That said, I'm not sure I'd have a problem valuing another human life enough to feel any sort of guilt or remorse in killing them. So the only real issues are the mess, the motivation, and the potential consequences.

I'm fairly sure most people here have a similar view on the matter and don't let angst convince us that we'd be super human monsters able to hunt a dozen people in a night, kill with the slightest touch, and take bullets to the face without an issue.

If you're going to kill someone it's best to just do it in the quickest and most simple way. Much less likely to get you caught, but if you're an actual sadist I suppose playing with your food may bring you some reward for the potential risk it presents.

As a kid when I lived out in the country, we have a couple acres and we had all sorts of bugs and lil' critters and stuff.

My dad, who worked with a chemical company, incidentally one time kept a huge big fucking vat of hydrochloric acid out in the storage barn. Not kidding, fucking muriatic acid. It was pretty dilute though, but he had some smaller storage tanks of high-concentration HCL and H2SO4, the fumes from them alone would burn out the inside of the hairs on your nose. I was never stupid enough to directly work with the concentrated stuff (and obviously I was dicking around and would have been hugely punished if my dad caught me back there), but I used to love dissolving the biggest bugs / critters I could catch in acid. Snails and earthworms were the best. i also used to get big snails from the garden and kill them in all sorts of experimental ways, my mom didn't mind actually because they were fucking up our tulips. I did salt and all the other common stuff, but also did a lot of dissections of attempting to remove the shell while keeping it alive, I think I actually succeeded once or twice.

I never had the heart to kill anything bigger than that though, except for one time I stepped on a mouse outside and its guts squirted out of its ass. It was more of an accident as I thought it'd be too fast for me to hit, I guess it was old or something.
