You can't use AA and HDR at the same time. HDR is basically a fancier version of the bloom effect, but because of the "radiance" it causes you can more or less side-step not having AA in some programs, however it is more resource intensive.

As far as which is better, personally I prefer HDR to AA for this program. It does a pretty good job making the lines appear smooth and you get the extra lighting effects.

Of course, this is all assuming that option is for HDR (or whatever they want to call fancy bloom).

Pick out the files I want in my decompression directory, convert to csvs, move the csv files out to my actual working directory then copy back in to reconvert and clear the csv files. Haven't had a problem since using that work flow and I went around and re-worked and formatted the profile generator's strings for the hell of it.

Translations are split across three areas.

Textures which deals with the art based translations like buttons and the various menu screens
Xls.vac: Titles, profile descriptions, scenario names. Anything which is 'hard' UI based.
Script.vac: Dialogue and scenario content.

You'll lose any translated intro sequence and I don't think the HF patch actually has anything important in the script.vac file.
If anything that script.vac replacement should be far superior to the HF one.

I hate to ask for tech support, but I just got the 1.02 update, and since it was acting like 1.01, I decided to manually install it. I dragged the things from the game data folder into game data, and script.vac and CM3D.nei into my install folder, updated the Update.lst text with what was in the new one, and saved it. When I go to run it, I get a shit ton of errors about csv, around 25~ errors pop up before the CM3D.exe has stopped working message.

Someone please tell me what I did wrong here.

Just redid it from scratch. Same problem after I try and install 1.02

Updating it to 1.01 works fine, installing plugins 001 and 005 work fine, installing 1.02 is not. Like I said before, I'm overwriting whats in GameData with wahts in 1.02, then dragging script.vac and CM3D.nei into my install folder, then updating the Update file, adding what is found in 1.02's to it, then saving it and running the game. Error messages everywhere. Since update.exe is out of the question, I don't know what to do. And yes, I redownloaded 1.02 beore I tried any of this, incase it was a winzip problem.
