Got to start with the basics.

My first modification of the China dress. I wanted a white one. The shadows are not right, they dont match the gloves yet. However I dont know where the glove skin is stored so I cant check the color, ill have to go about it another way. Have not done matching shoes yet.

Replace both files with this one, not sure why it has two files but they were identical as far as I can tell.

If anyone knows where the black dress or the white gloves are at post me a path or post them, it will make this a lot easier.

Well I got the patch to work with a copy of the game that I only patched with the HF patch. Works fine and all my saves moved over to and my skin mods. I rather liked the 4chan version of the translated UI better but, ohh well. This is all temporary until a fully translated UI comes out with all the aliases and titles anyways.

I used the updater in it and it installed a plugin folder to my CM£D directory and theres something called voice_plg_001.vac in there now.

The game was working fine with that particular mod with the .anz file.
It was only when I started switching out different skins that something went wrong. I notice the new skins are around 1.4mb large whilst the orginal textures are only about 400kb, is that of any relevance I wonder.

What I've done is extract the orginal texture.vac with CM3Dextractor. Replace some png files with new ones. Then I dragged the entire texture folder onto CM3Dextractor again. It laoded up a blackscreen, did something for a minute or so then returned back to normal.

The install.bat probably ate your Data folder. Happened to me. Re-install and install the english files manually. Use the CM3dextractor.exe. Drag the .vac files into it and replace the files in the folder then repack it. Read past threads on how to do it or figure it out yourself.
