I don't get it. It actually started after some time, but apparently I screwed up, because it does not change the game in any way I can see. After the creation, she does her dance and then the game returns to the main menu.

I downloaded the benchmark, copy'd all the files of the try_edit_patch and installed the HF patch, and even if the folder is bigger, it didn't change anything (except those errors, of course).

Guess I'll have to wait for the full release then.

You did it so wrong. You need the official patch, not the HF patch. Here, I'll walk you through the WHOLE thing.

1. Download the cm3d_try_bench at http://www.mediafire.com/?97gp0e5b229uxab and extract it somewhere nice
2. Download the Camera.vac, Shader.vac and Texture.vac from the full version of the game at http://www.mediafire.com/?6iequca5s4j6y68 and substitute them into your cm3d_try_bench\GameData game directory

It starts with the "salon part", where you have 4 options:

-Talk
-Go to play room

Dance let's you see her dance and stuff, doubt there's that much to it, because you can do it as many times you wanted a day. Cosplay lets you change her clothes and can also be done as many times as you want. Talk can only be done once a day, and after you do it, you'll proceed to the "attendance part". The play room option brings you straight to the "attendance part" without talking to her.
