If there's one thing Clannad does well it's developing most characters very well, not only that but it manages to be really touching without feeling too forced, it's definitely the best thing that Key has ever done. I really don't see how you can think that ONE is even close to being better than Clannad.

And Muv-Luv is amazing, it manages to excel in a lot of areas, the characters interaction is great, it's entertaining from the beginning to the end, the action is really well portrayed thanks to the amazing visual and Takeru's development make him one of the most memorable eroge protagonist.

The fact that Takeru is so "normal" for an eroge protagonist at the beginning but really begin to change and develop later makes him memorable, especially since the development is really well shown gradually.

Yeah that's the problem; Clannad tried to be THE VN. Everyone and their dog has a path, ridiculous complexity, humongous length. All more detracting than helping.
