Get a job, study, go outside in some kind of activity. You'll notice that the real world is pretty boring, and that your room has pretty fun things compared to that after all.

I never saw the point in suicide. So although I've thought of many ways to do it, I would never really do it. And even if this lifestyle is no fun, that's because the world is no fun. When I'm forced to do something else because I don't have money growing on parental or governmental trees, I just crave the moment I can return and pretend that never happened.

You're supposed to fill your days with video games, anime, VNs, etc.. Not sit around doing nothing. The appeal of a Hiki lifestyle is basically doing only what you enjoy doing, so, of course, if you actually enjoy being outside or hanging out with people, and don't enjoy things like the list above, it isn't going to be fun for you.

hikkis are actively engaged in things, we just dislike face-to-face interaction with people and feel safe and comfortable in our rooms

the only reason why we're looked down upon is because society/technology has not progressed to the point where occupations can easily be pursued at home

You see, the kind of people that visit this board are so afraid of the outside world that they can only find comfort in being alone and being an anonymous nobody online, where no one can see them or hurt them. Of course, they escape into their anime worlds and waifus like little children afraid of the dark. They've created a little community here so they feel like they belong to something.
