I don't actually think it's bad, it's just sort of boring. One of the only VNs I've tried where I actually feel like ctrl-ing through some scenes.

I read Narcissu because Dan Kim mentioned it on his blog. I enjoyed it but I don't read too many VN's these days.

Gimai Hitomi. I thought that VN's would be safe from rape at the time, boy was I wrong.

Despite the large amount of raep in the game, I loved it. Yoko's path was pretty damn fappable, Hitomi's good end had a pretty dawwww moment and Yuki's path was just awesome and happy the whole way through.

A built in path-map was also an AWESOME feature. Due to the fact that college takes up so much of my time these days, I wish more games would come with built-in path maps.

The demo of Ayakashi. D/Led it because I saw a video on NicoNico with the music from various VNs, and this one had the best OP song and the art looked interesting due to the gloomy/mysterious atmosphere.
Yoake's awesome voice actress saying 「そうです。あなた達を殺しに来ました。」 was I think the first sentence of real Japanese that I understood completely. Or at least the first one that I cared about.
