Yup, it got some fluff with blaze but that shit's getting the nerf bat so bad in G13, koreans actually paid to derank the skill to rank F to get their AP back.

Hailstorm is coming, wich is the adv ice magic. It has some nice effects and to use it you have to equip a new 2-handed staff. It's kind of nice but eh, could have been better. Also, with g13 come the masteries, wich you'll want to rank if you want your damage with Int magic back Then there's bolt mastery wich buffs bolts a little and bolt composer wich lets you do fusion magic alone.

Overall, yeah, magic still sucks.

mabi needs an east coast server
all the other games have an east coast server
after checking the loot speed on bellocan and el nido, i'm never going to any west coast servers anymore, if mabinogi had an east coast server i could actually do some epic combos instead of hiding behind golems since they could tank, even tho i disabled nagle it doesn't compare with those on the west coast

The lag on Alexina improved dramatically after last week's maintenance. There's still the occasional lag spike and some monster lag in dungeons, but it's certainly playable now, unlike before.

A nice side-effect of the lag is that market prices took a noticeable dive as sellers were forced to lower their prices (if they wanted to sell anything), because gold became more scarce with no one able to hardly do anything. I'm sure it will go right back up, though, and soon.

I used to play Mabinogi years ago.

Got to Ice Spear rank-1, playing instrument rank-3, and stacks of mana healing music scrolls and MP-100 potions.

Shit got old as soon as generation 9 came out in the US. It seems like it should have been awesome but they nerfed the hell out of it and by the time they allowed people to train it to high levels there was god mode shit that allowed people to oneshot the gen3 final boss.

Like so many things out there, it'd be an awesome game if the developers and publisher didn't shit all over it constantly.

The game is kinda fun at first, and the story bits can get pretty interesting, but there are huge flaws in the game.

Nexon tries too hard to make money, and so you can't even do anything worthwhile without service, and there are so many gacha items that just ruin the economy (which was already screwed up because of the gold-duping incident last year).

Game is kinda fun at first, but the huge grind needed to do anything worthwhile is just too much for me.

In fact, that was the time when I still paid for Premium service. Daily items, (in-game)daily Nao res, daily dye capsules(if you were lucky) every day. I played a lot back then.

I also pretty much quit that game, but at least you can furnish yourself with your own equipment if you're smart, and you don't have to try and play the market; just sell your purple drops on the auction house and maek monies.

Otherwise you may want to focus on things that might get you a new computer (or at least a new video card). Gaems with GRAPHIX are the wave of the future.

I used to really love mabinogi.

Then the gold dupe glitch happened. Me and my friends on Mari made BILLIONS each. Once I had everything and bought anything interesting from the economy, I realized that... I had completed everything. There was no reason for me to continue playing, especially under Nexon's administration. If they would have wiped the servers, I would be less angry than their little 'LOL WE BANNED PEOPLE' speech.

I then quit and gave my inheritance away to my other friends. Since then, every update i've heard about sounds only worse, especially this G14 or G13 around the corner... my friend said it had something to do with Shakespeare. The cash shop only got more outrageous, I heard.

RIP Mabinogi. I will never forget the time I put into you before G1 and from G1 to G3, where the team of me and two other friends braved the G1 final boss dungeons and had to invent interesting strategies for defeating gargoyles and for defeating the final boss.

It is an incredible MMO with a lot of wonderful things about it, but... it got 'nexon'ed. Now the cash shop has things like exp pots, gachapons that give absurdly rare items, and a bunch of other stuff.

I even looked for a mabi private server to see if it had been done, but with no such luck.

I was really looking forward to Mabinogi Heroes, but it ended up being... well, diablo 2.

There's nothing else to play right now. As far as I know anyways, I'd love for someone to prove me wrong. CB kinda feels like it's in its death knells, which makes me rather sad.

in G13 they've added destinies such as warrior ETC that you can change every time you rebirth for some bonus stats and skills are easier to train

sadly nothing for life skills though

The worst was going all in on archery before realizing that you basically need windmill 1 for dungeons and that it's impossible to rank if your other skills are good.
Also, starting refining with 150 base dex on a fresh rebirth.
