So which of the following would /jp/ consider the hardest?

-Perfect clear/no bomb Lunatic UFO
-Perfect clear/no bomb/no ice on spellcards Lunatic Fairy Wars
-Capturing all EX spell-cards back to back in DS/StB, 1 try each.

>> No.6761250

>Perfect clear/no bomb/no ice on spellcards Lunatic Fairy Wars
Impossible

>> No.6761272

>>6761250

>> No.6761277

The second one. And you can actually make it harder by having to get all gold medals during the run, meaning no dying on spellcards either. That is what I plan to do one day when I improve greatly enough to undertake the challenge.

>> No.6761282

>>6761250
Then why does it show you can still earn a gold medal for all the spellcards?

It might be impossible for the Extra stage and the beams though....

>meaning no dying on spellcards either

I assume that's why the perfect clear condition was added. I don't know why the OP had to make a distinction of not using bombs (lol u can use bombs 4 pacifist duhhh).

>> No.6761316

>>6761292
And I'm a moron because that's now how you get gold medals, but the ice condition was there anyway. Still, listing perfect and no bombs together doesn't make sense.

>> No.6761318

>>6761292

I wasn't sure if it meant 1cc or otherwise, but oh well. If I'm feeling crazy enough I might want to add a no ice ever clause to it just to see if it's possible.

>> No.6761326

Playing all Shoot The Bullet levels sequentially without dying once

>> No.6761336

No ice on Lunatic on FW, no questions asked.

Extra clear with no ice on FW, to be specific, sounds essentially... impossible.

>> No.6761339

>>6761326
Compared to capturing all spell cards on Lunatic with gold medals on Fairy Wars? In a 1cc?

I don't think so.

>> No.6761355

I bet OP can't even beat these games on normal, why bother asking these dumb questions?

There's also the supreme nightmare that is 9-6. If we go into tool-assisted runs, then...

bcuz it would be soooo cool n random XD

I don't care, at least I see some thread related to the games.

>> No.6761375

>-Perfect clear/no bomb/no ice on spellcards Lunatic Fairy Wars

Isn't freezing as essential as shooting?

>> No.6761382

>>6761375

It says no ice on spellcards. They're SUPPOSED to be possible, or else there would be no way to get a gold medal. I'm not sure if they are, however, some of them are ridiculously tough without freezing. It's one reason I want to try it, plus the no ice ever challenge.

>> No.6761392

I'd consider this a /v/ thread. Touhou's "community" belongs on /jp/, the games themselves are /v/ related.

Because its showing.

You're right. Time to slow the game down to a snail's pace. I'm serious, some of these spells aren't humanly possible to navigate through without freezing.

>> No.6761420

I can barely capture spell cards with no ice on stage 1 on normal, lets not even mention stage 2.

>> No.6761462

>>6761415

You honestly have me there. I can't even tell, even Luna's first card on Lunatic seems near impossible to get through without ice. I tried a no ice run and I haven't beaten Normal on all routes yet. So far the first stage up to Luna is possible on Lunatic without ice even with my meager skills, although I died quite a few times since I wasn't used to the difficulty spike. I didn't continue after Luna because I didn't feel prepared enough to beat her without freezing yet.

Guy with best Western score on StB thing here. The first one's probably been done by a Japanese person already.

The EX-spellcards are nowhere near the hardest StB and DS scenes. Nowhere near. A harder challenge would be clearing StB's 9-6 three times in a row witihout dying.

The only EX scene that I think would give any real trouble is Mokou's turtles card and Marisa's circling familiars shoot lasers one.

And the Fairy Wars is literally impossible to do by a human. Like in the actual sense of literally. When humans are capable of increasing their reaction speeds and calculating abilities to superhuman abilities which makes them perceive time slower then it might be possible. But we're fairly far away from that.

Probably? You're sure you didn't see a picture of it somewhere? But you're right, it's not really out there for a game like that. Done by HS参謀, of course, and based on his comment fed through a machine translator it's reasonable to assume that no broken borders were involved.

It's nice to see you again. Hop on over to the PoFV thread, I'd love to have a match against you (USEast). >>6757211

No problem, you can just join then. There's a Q&A in the OP, and the second-last post in the thread is still hosting (and idle on IRC as well).
