While in the VN Haru is certainly the best character, and akabesoft know it considering how much development she gets, which is fine since the main story of the VN revolves around her.

Although I think it's a pity the other characters are a little deglected in comparsion to the depth of character development.

Just finished Haru's route, and enjoyed it quite a bit.

Just wondering, though...
Is there a general consensus to what Haru's daughter's name is? I was originally thinking Kiyomi, but I read somewhere that Haruna contains the Kanji for spring and at the end of the game states "And then, when Haru told him the name of his daughter, the powdery snow suddenly came to a halt. Almost as if it were a harbinger for an early spring.

It could make sense since supposedly "Haruna" began performing again sometime when Kyousuke was in jail. Instead of being Haru starting to play violin again, it could be Haruna playing piano.

Thoughts?

I don't think so, It is said that Haruna was BACK so it's clearly not a different person. Also I find it hard to believe someone younger than 7 years old making so much success to the point of reaching prisons. And even if that was the case, he would hear / read that people were talking about a young girl playing the piano was making a lot of success and her name was Haruna.

Also, Kiyomi is related to spring too in a way. When the letter Kyouhei received from his father is being read it mentions something about Kiyomi being the harbringer of spring for his father or something like that (but I'm not sure)

This is all guess work as we are never actually told anything but by that point he can be considered to be over her or he never fell for her. Another theory could be the whole "What one does the other will follow through on" so when Kyousuke fell in love with Kannon, Kyouhei fell in love with Yuki Also keep in mind he has always expressed interest not only in her talents but her as well What proved it for me was When Kyouhei was thinking how he wanted her to be around to help him near the end

>> No.6763585

Honestly, though I couldn't figure it out on my own, when I went back to look at all the clues I figured that there were a ton of little bullshit parts preventing you from figuring it out.

It was never justified why Kyouhei had headaches, just like Kyousuke. During Kyousuke's headaches, there were in fact times that he went around doing things that he later could not remember. It's also bullshit that Haru thought that Kyousuke was Maou at all. When her mother was killed, she clearly saw Maou enough to know that he was much older than her. Speaking of which, right before Gonzou is killed he tells Haru that Kyousuke is Maou, even though he knows at that time that it isn't true.

There's also that part in Kanon's route where we see Maou saying that he's given up on his plans (though that may be a lie), saying something about how he found love. He also says that he feels the last headache he'll ever have coming on. Seriously, that just isn't fair.

Oh, and then there's that nonsense that the director pulled. It's implied (or rather an unwritten rule) that only the protagonist, Kyousuke, has his text written at the bottom. Other narrators are supposed to have the full screen text style with their silhouette.

Even though it was really good, I feel that Sharin no Kuni's twist was done in a much better and more subtle way.

Still, I really liked this game. It's too bad there wasn't a footjob bad end though.

"Sharin is a summer story, G-Sen is a winter story. Sharin’s protagonist is someone with an upbeat, straightforward attitude, G-Sen’s is brooding and upset. Much of Sharin is centered around the sins of the protagonist, G-Sen is centered around the sins against its protagonist. In Sharin, the lead characted works to heal the hearts of the heroines, in G-Sen, the heroines work to heal the heart of the lead character. Sharin’s hero is a hero, and villain is a villain, G-Sen’s heroes are villains and villains are heroes. It’s the exact opposite, and yet so similar in many respects."

Regardless, he got his hand full just to deal with his life: his dad got jailed, his brother "died" at terrorist attack, his mom sickly all happened in one month and they were forced to move everytime and what's with drunken people, yakuza and bullying.

Beside who he should direct his revenge to? The main culprit Yoshinori already dead and he wouldn't have the heart to blame Kaoru and Haru, much less planning to free his dad, not when he was kept in dark, beside I doubt he has the proper resources and knowledge.
