I did NOT expect them to pull out all these great arranges, seriously every single one of them is good, even the last one by T.Stebbins. His english is good but, ugh.. He sounds so whiney. I feel China Gal could have been sung better on the last album.

I kinda agree, at every comiket i always delete 3/4 of the albums i download.
One day, i began to listen to non-related touhou stuff (Jazz, break beats, accoustic etc) and i realized how shitty were touhou albums compared to music you can find in a shop, touhou albums is always the same things and are not so original, listening to the orginal soundtrack is way better sometime

That said, who the fuck sprinkled awesome on Sugano/Kizuna's cereal? I guess pairing off with DJ Skyblue helped, their production is FAR better on this album's entries. Fuckin' LOVE the Bratt Sinclaire flavor on Savior of the Sky, vocals aside.

DJ Command and ELEMENTAS need to pair off more often; Track 2 isn't mind-blowing but it IS good.

Samfree is doing what he does best, but I liked when he worked with a flesh-and-blood vocalist a little better.

A little disappointed at track 7. It's not bad, but it's not great.

Yeah my favorite touhou albums lately have been the ones that are either really thematic music (like folk music, lounge) and songs that you can't really tell are touhou anymore. Shibayan is one of my favorites in those departments. ArtKuhle is a great folky-sounding album (not by Shibayan).

New Alba seems ok. Paramount Fever was subpar since it lacked quim singing, never realized how important he was until he wasn't included. I love alba and mikoraji though, I even saw them live on my last trip.

New IOSYS crossfade is kind of a let down... They said it would be super denpa, kind of doesn't live up to that hype.. But I'm really excited for Toromi's track.

Listening to "Savior of the Sky" in the cross-fade, it sounds like Kizuna fucked up the pitch correction, you can hear where T hits the note but it keeps going up a little bit. It's on "Surviiiiiiiiive".
A few minor quirks aside, Sugano is kicking ass this album.
