I actually prefer Lion as a male, though. There's enough female characters flitting about, and if Lion was female.. I don't know, the relationship with Will would've been different and not as good. I think that's probably as up for interpretation as the rest of the nature of the meta-world? The way Bern talked about finding Lion made me think Lion was legitimately another possibility Bern was able to access as Voyager, but you could read it either way.

I was thinking about Yasu's identity. With Jessica we found out she turned out much the same in the two worlds.

Yasu could be transgendered. Lion talks about gender as if it's an issue, some transgendered people are reluctant to identify too openly as either gender since they don't want to be one and don't fully pass as the other.

When Yasu found out about her accident, she probably blamed her transgenderism on it. This is probably about when she came up with Kanon. But Kanon wasn't a very confident personality, because she was just lying to herself.
