It's been raining since last Monday for me.
I couldn't see the meteor shower last week because of the clouds of the impending rain.

Lunar eclipses are boring and nothing special.

I have seen like 5 in my life.

Gonna be playing IN in my car with the moonroof open to celebrate.

'cept that in certain parts of the world, the eclipse tonight happens to be falling on the same day as the winter solstice, something which hasn't happened in over 2000 years.
At any rate, I can't wait to see the scarlet moon hanging in the sky! I even have my alarm set to the peak viewing time, just in case I get sleepy.

Listening to invisible full moon

Pardon my terrible pictures, just thought i'd share for the non-US or cloudy skied friends.

Heres a 15 second exposure while it was still full.

Bah, i missed the thread accidently. Oh well.

15 second exposure with roughly 5% of the moon left uncovered.

Unluckily for me a big fucking cloud rolled right in and ruined the red moon for photos.

Although it did turn the landscape into neat colors, same 15 second exposure as the first one, except during the red moon instead of full.
