Not all boards can sage like /jp/ can. It works on /jp/ because it's slow enough so that you can keep the active discussions on the front page while still knowing what's on the other pages.

Faster boards do not have that luxury.

It's actually more how you put it originally. We interpret the rules as we see fit, and I'm okay with that.
I'm okay with doubles and GETS because I've dealt with it for nigh on 6 years now. I find GETrushes to be rather amusing, even if they don't contribute one whit to the board.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm in the small minority for that, though. They break the monotony of Touhou threads to Higurashi/Umineko threads to VN flavor-of-the-month threads and back to Touhou again. Not that I have any problem with these things, but I'm here 25 hours a day, so it gets a little dull for me.

I think we're a pretty great bunch when we don't have to deal with hit-and-run fags from other boards, and recent, post-rename transplants that think they own the place.

We're generally pretty comfortable with who we are, and quite a few of us are also really, really financially successful. We chose this life knowingly, and we don't need to be little crybaby bitches like r9k.
