I stopped going to /bun/ ever since that #bun drama appeared on /photos/. Fuck that board, it's just a dumping place for #bun devs now. I can't believe I used to think it was a good replacement for /jp/.

Even if it had a population bigger than /jp/'s, it'd still be slow as fuck. Since it has so many separate boards, you'd still have to wait days or weeks for even a tepid response on some of them.

One thing's for sure though, if 4chan or /jp/ ever bite the dust that's the first place I'll head.
