I actually tried the build you're using for a bit. It didn't do that great for me honestly, it was around 50/50 for wins and losses from what i remember, but that was for like 10 battles.

Three hounds dogs have me at 27 battles won to 11 battles lost for 71% win rate.

Shino is a L land with good base stats(tec especially) and very good capacity.

What's annoying is how Crim isn't all that great a bot, there's better choices of Air (hell, Sword Wing has better fly stat than crim), but if you want a Seraph you've gotta use her. I don't think Vindictus made much of a splash here, but I see a thread every so often for it on /v/ so they haven't quit it. Vindictus is kind of like Monster Hunter if you want a slight idea of what it's like. It runs on source engine too so it doesn't require a powerful PC either while still being able to have decent graphics.

Froglander. Buy it for 800 uc. Buy handy bazooka for 600 uc. Level twice. Once for a capacity cart. Once for Short-boost. Give it a bazooka and one arm. Don't bother with the second arm. Repeat this step twice so you have two froglanders. Hop like a faggot and spray bazooka everywhere. You will die for 165 cost. Half that of the other starters. This is just a fast temporary solution.

Get a Katana Max. If you took the gold one, this will go faster, if not you'll need 8800 uc. You will also need another 7000 uc for the parts to equip. Buy whatever tempura decides to translate ダルマスター as, and put it's arms on Katana max. If you've managed to get lucky enough to get a bs with +tec, put that on too. Level katana max and get a level 5 limit remover somehow. I'm betting one will be a rank-up gift. Get Short-boost and quickland and all the guards, stop at level 7. Total bot cost will be about 690-700. you'll have over 300 hp and nearly 20 wlk. Arm it with two handy bazookas(because you'll need the ammo, as you'll be outliving all of the room).

Finally, Red Screamer is a quest drop and is pretty much the best non-RT hopper bot that will be available. Once you've done the above and have some time on your hands, you can grind until he drops and get an eight vulcan with him. Slap on a vipershield, and it'll be like you never stopped playing in the autisic star room!

even though I said this, the good thing about hoppers is at least they aren't as lethal to Art as ivis/ouka spam is. (well, cardhoppers always owned my Maril due to stunlock, but bazooka hoppers are way easier to handle). And maybe I'll actually be able to accomplish something with melee, which is the simplest counter to hoppers. Really, hoppers everywhere and bazookas everywhere will probably make Air the hardest to play relative to previous OB, plus there won't be all the ivis/ouka that demand air to counter them.

AIR will be much harder to play if it is anything like JPCB. But I like it that way. It's more fun dodging all the bazookas and eventually getting shot down than flying wherever I want and never dying.

Arena is the only thing that gets you decent UC. Once you have the decent stuff from the store that you can buy for UC, then you can start grinding Arcantus for drops for a bit for the other equipment you can't get from the store.

Forget about doing Bastagant. You'll just be wasting your precious tickets until you have good enough hardware. Ditto for missions unless there's a specific drop, like the micro-bazooka, that you're aiming to get.

Somebody got a little trigger happy with the prize sending machine the other night and accidentally sent out two times the appropriate number of prizes to a fairly large number of players. We've only just discovered this, and there isn't really much we can do about it right now, minutes before the servers open. So, rather than delay the start of the Final Beta Test for a few hours and take all the extra prizes away, we've decided to simply give everyone else extra prizes instead. Currently, some players received double the number of items and robots that they were supposed to receive as Beta Tester Rewards and CosmicCommander Participation Prizes; other players did not. In order to make this fair, we're planning to give extra prizes to all the players who only received one of each prize, but it's going to take us a while to sort things out and figure out to whom we need to send which prizes. For the time being, we ask that players just sit tight and give us at least a day or two to work things out.

In an effort to make up for any confusion and irritation caused by this slip-up, we're also going to run UC, Exp, and Drop Rate x2 multipliers from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM (PST) today, in addition to the x1.5 multipliers from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (PST) mentioned in the Start Dash Campaign below.

goddamn, there's shit in the way of explosive weapons now, unless I want to use mini bazookas only (which previously I only used on Air) and that -2 wlk/fly sucks. Missile launchers are LL so can't use those on Maril. I'm thinking about trying out the grenade launcher but I don't know if it'll be at all viable and costs 3400 UC which could be totally wasted.
