Crossover worked okay when I still used it. Some of them were touchy about fullscreen/windowed modes but otherwise okay. Nowadays I just dual boot because I like to play games other than touhou sometimes.

It works fine in crossover for me, however, EOSD has all these framerate bugs in fullscreen, where it claims to be at like 80fps to 120 fps, but moves at snail's pace. Also, it can't save replays.

Everything works fine in windowed mode, and actually, there is a little trick you can do to make your windowed experience a lot nicer. You need to go into the accessability settings and create a keyboard shortcut for screen zoom. I have mine as control+option+ +, and just run EOSD in windowed mode zoomed. Everything's peachy this way.

Truth is, I didn't even install it in crossover. I created the bottle (winXP) and simply ran the .exe and it worked.

I have a 2009 13 inch macbook pro, so I'm not sure if that makes any difference, but the thing just sorta clicked. Like I said though, it fucks up in full screen for some reason. PCB and IN don't, and the text is really hard to read on MOF, but everything else works perfectly.

Now, if you want to have some real fun with your touhou and macbook, get a ps3 or wired xbox controller and download some drivers for it. I'd hate to be stuck using the keyboard forever, even though it's pretty hardcore if you manage to 1cc a game with it like I did.

Well just to ask, which version of Crossover are you using? Cause I use Crossover 8.0. (mac user here too!)

It looks fine when I use that.

The versions that came after that showed simalar results that your showing here. So I would recommend to go look up Crossover 8.0 and download that. That should do the trick.

Yeah that would explain it. We use the same OS (10.4.11). And as it turns out, the later versions seem to not work too well with Tiger.
