The best VN main character ever is the guy from Wanko to Kurasou.

Class act gigolo. Not only does he get the highschool girl, but he proposes to, and marries her before intercourse. He fucks like a horse, and makes strong meaningful decisions. He's mature and doesn't let little shit bother him.

shirou is a really good VN character, i thought he was really fleshed out in the game. (only played the first 2 parts so don't know about heaven's feel)

personally i would have liked the game more (cum my pants more) if rin and archer had been the main characters instead because they have awesome chemistry and they're tsundere relationship is amazing. i'm hoping for a rinxarcher sequel. i dunno fate/red panties or something
