Vocal, electronic, pop.

Vocals by Shizuku Aosaki / 蒼咲雫, Yuka, Koko / ココ.

I tried to find more about this album, but to no avail. I have no idea which artist/performer did what track, so I simply left everything with the circle's name. Feel free to provide more information.

Remilia, could you recommend an alblum or group that does smooth jazz arranges but with an electric guitar and/or sax (sort of like Santana or Dave Koz except not as gay).

Specifically, I'm looking for a remix of Cosmic Mind because I've been hooked on it recently.

This is a pretty good recommendation. The Dana Blue album which this comes from has a couple tracks that I think would qualify as "smooth jazz".

Some other albums to check out:
DDBY - InsTouhou
rhythmique - Syncopation Shot #01
Attrielectrock - ACCR a perfect day

All that I can think of off the top of my head, and they're pretty recent so it shouldn't be hard to find a link.

Is this all VBR shit like it usually is, or is there some 320/FLAC?

Thanks for sharing, regardless.

I don't want to get into a quality discussion, I just prefer to have 320 and FLAC. Peace of mind, you know?

I've never easily been able to put a genre for music on DDBY; some of his others albums used to describe themselves as Jazzstep (Drum & Bass and Jazz) but it's worth checking out even if you have only a passing interest in electronic music; it's quite relazing. Also, there are no vocals in case anyone was wondering.

My encodes are v0. 320 CBR is just a waste of space on the hard drive, you're better off downloading lossless.

>>6551755
I have their entire discography, but uploading 10 albums would be a bit of an overkill. You can find them in the torrent.

>>6552283
Trust me, you'll get used to the vocal arrangement after a while. Contrary to popular belief, some of them are actually quite good.

I know, not every vocal arrangement it's bad and it doesn't help I can't understand shit either, so I can only appreciate the beauty of the voice.

I still keep a few on my mp3 player.

and thanks again, I always seek to find your music threads here, and now that scar is down, you are my only resource for sanity.

>Vocals
Usually not a fan of them either.

There are a bunch of exceptions however. I could list tons of them, but I don't feel like it.
For a few recently shared examples however

>(M3-26) Alieson - WIZARD~混沌を統べる魔術師と月虹の傀儡~ ANASTASIS [ALSY-0012]
Was great in my opinion. Perhaps a bit suprisingly also because of the traces of un-orthodox singing, not even perfectly clean at all places. But still going well together with the music, also good at conveying feelings.

>(M3-26) [葉月ゆら] La Pucelle
Was also not that bad if I were to say so myself, they managed to make the voices and music to not clash.

But as I said, I could point out tons of music I would deem to be exceptions.
Then again, I do believe I suspect that much of my general passive dislike for lyrics is due to how it is so often used.
So many people use lyrics as they for some reason feels that it is needed, as opposed to being good or able to contribute in some way. This so often results in music having lyrics crammed into it for little to no good reason when none of the people involved even knew how to use it in a good way.

I am also kind of tired of the texts themselves most of the time, of course language and comprehension is important regarding this, but perhaps much because of what is mentioned above, lots of lyrics nowadays have really uninteresting, or completely irrelevant texts. In the old times before the radio and all that grew to become an industry, lyrics were more so than often real works of poetry.

The last thing I have in mind regarding lyrics, is also how depending on the situation, lyrics may also steal attention from the rest of the music as one uncounciously tries to decipher the meanings behind the words, making it, say, a tad less relaxing.
