Let's find out how likely you are to really understand the VNs you read!

The average results most common makes me doubt how accurate this test may have been, but I really did do it seriously.

Then again, even though it is not my native language, I have studied english from the age of 5, and I did choose to take all those advanced english classes and I continued to do so all the way up until I dropped out of college, and I had near perfect grades in english.
But 43,100 still seems a bit much, it is almost double the average after all.

I managed to pull of the level of a "Japanese Child".

I am still actually kind of proud as I have never gone out of my ways to learn Japanese. The Japanese Child score is also still that of someone who at least has some kind of real grasp of the language even if it may be that of a child. Many do in fact have a better vocabulary in the languages they study, rather than their native languages.

So foreigners can actually be quite knowledgable if they are still actively studying the language, or if they have done so for a longer period of time.

Your native language is something many neglect after reaching a pasable level, only studying in cases when necessary.

Those tests are always rigged. They only give kids psych tests when they've already decided a kid has a problem and want "hard evidence" of it. If you pass, either it doesn't count, or they'll make up some excuse to flunk you anyway.

Yes. When VNs have words like "hamlet" in them, you know they should count.

Maybe you should be honest and not check the dictionary for every single word you can vaguely remember hearing once or twice in your life.

I could bullshit my way through the test too and get 35,000 if I wanted. But I didn't, because I am not a faggot.

The test says "only words you know the definition for."

You guys are checking words you saw once and probably can infer from context, but which full meaning you aren't sure of.

Seriously, you can't even read the instructions on a vocabulary test properly?!

You're a funny guy Jones. Are you saying you understand words like tatterdemalion, williwaw, and terpsichorean so well that you could use them in an essay without error?

Stop being so conceited, thanks! ^_^

I've never even heard of a williwaw.
Why are you so angry? Why do you keep projecting your own quiz behavior ("checking words you saw once") onto me?
Is it so impossible that someone else on the Internet -- a self-confessed nerd, no less -- has a larger vocabulary than you?
If nothing else, it probably means you had better things to do as a kid than read books all day.
