I thought we were past the days of terrible eroge adaptations.

I was wrong.

Fuck! I am not happy about this, I don't want an anime adaptation to oretsuba since it's perfect in VN format and anything else doesn't do it justice.

I know it will probably be shit seeing the cast but I can't help being kinda excited.
Also it's keeping the VA from the game.

Oretsuba and Shuffle have pretty much nothing in common except for Nishimata.
Oretsuba is closer to Durarara without the supernatural, it's basically about the different aspects of a town and all the crazy people who live in it.

And it's an awesome eroge, I can't say I'm looking forward to the anime adaptation made by fucking Nomad

If you unironically liked Kämpfer, I don't even know what to say.
Of all they did, not much was good thanks to their productions, and that's a surefire sign of shitty studio.
The only thing that comes to mind that I enjoyed based on the merits of the studio, as opposed to the source material, were the slice of life parts of Yozakura Quartet - but that was more thanks to the director than anything else.
And I can't say anything about the director here, as I haven't seen any of the series he worked on.
