I just noticed something rather peculiar. A VN related video I uploaded to jewtube a while back now has over 15k views, 60% of which are from females between the ages of 13 and 17. Everything I know about the world is apparently wrong.

When I was that age, no one gave a shit about Japanese shit aside from mainstream games. Fuck.

Things like that were no where near as accessible when you were a kid

A piano version of Cirno's song is very popular with teenage girls from Japan.

Things become mainstream, and suddenly the very people who would ostracize you if they discovered your hobby will be sucking up to the culture in an attempt to massage their social status.
It happened to video gaming years ago, and now its happening to weeaboo.
Enjoy.

Both points are certainly true, but it seems to point towards a rift between what teenage girls and teenage boys are into. There were rifts when I was in school, and I would assume there are different rifts today.

Does this mean we have more in common with younger girls? Is that why /jp/ wants to be the little girl?

Give us the link and we will see if it's wrong or not.

You... you didn't know?

>> No.6511071

I think there are a lot of girls who have no idea what it really is and just think it looks cute and funny. If you told them there were sex scenes, they would feel the same as we did when we discovered the more childhood memory crushing side of rule 34.

Did you remove youtube traps from your stats?

We are little girls. We've just been trapped inside these filthy male bodies.

Is it something like Wanko to Kurasou opening video? In that case I'm not surprised, since stuff like that is just KAWAAIII OMG SO CUTE ^__^. Girls are into that stuff.

>> No.6511096

Maybe younger and/or female demographics are more likely to bother with the register, sign in, thumbs up or down stuff? I'm sure a lot of users just don't care enough for that.

Then again, stuff like Precure manages to be popular with both little girls and otaku. It certainly wouldn't be shocking for the right otaku-oriented bullshit to draw in little girls, even by accident.

No, I had no idea. It's quite sad really... For obvious reasons.

>>6511071

That's probably true, although I'd like to think a percentage of them would be mildly intrigued.

>>6511078

Impossible.

>>6511083

I figured.... It's all such a shame. I don't know how we all survive.

>>6511085

No, it's an actual gameplay video from Clannad.... Are young girls nuts for ~uguu KEY shit or something?

Girls like romance and drama.

>> No.6511152

Easy. Kids love lesbian/gay/sex stuff because it's "forbidden". Drawn characters are less gross, even cute. They just want to be badass and they end up liking it because of repetition

Yeah, throngs of weird little girls seem to go head over heels for Yaoi.... Always unsure why though. Young girls liking gay sex doesn't exactly provide any kind of advantage.
