Latest and possibly final undub patch is there.
Rune Factory 3 [U-J] is an undubbed version but I'm not sure it's done using the above patch. There are also a few other earlier undub versions floating around but your best bet is probably to undub patch it yourself just in case.

How do I get cows for milking?

First you need a barn, you get the option to buy it from Gaius after the first dungeon. Then you need to tame a buffamoo (cow). To do this, find one in a dungeon and feed it things. The grass/herbs nearby work, but it may take quite a few. You also need to be higher level than it in order to tame it.

You can find buffamoos randomly spawn in the lower right section of Privera forest.

This is embarrassing, but I seem to have screwed something up early on in the game. I'm mid level 40 and going through Fall, but I still haven't received the workshop expansion to my house. From what I understand, you're supposed to get it after Wells tasks you with killing the raccoon boss. Which I did, a few times. I'm not sure if there was something I was supposed to do in between killing the boss and returning to Wells, but I obviously screwed whatever it is up because here I am. For the record, I have tamed a variety of different monsters and upgraded their little home twice. I've just been aimlessly doing bulletin board/mailbox quests in hopes of one of them magically giving me a workshop.

I'm hoping there's some simple trigger that I can easily do, because I'd rather feel like a retard for a bit rather than starting over completely. Another question to ask would be if I can complete the game and secure my love for Shara without even having a workshop.

Is there any way to make this crappy Gungnir a neutral element? I'm tired of hitting birds and green warps and only doing 50 damage.

return home, you ask Wells if he didn't want you to go to the desert because of the camp there, he says it is so.
Tree grows.
You see room when you go inside.
Shara tells you about making that a working place.

This happens regardless of time, apparently. The last two events happened at late night for me. Maybe you need to make sure you're not on a quest, since being on a quest apparently screws up story progression a lot. And this is story progression.

If I didnt have someone in my life for the last 5 years, I could see how this could destroy me if I was a lonely nerd, this shit is like crack.

I'm in the middle of year 2, with all relationships at 10, and a level 80 character after getting through it on hard.

From what I can tell, after you get married, theres no more story, your left with a depressingly empty world, so I saved and turned it off, not sure if im gonna pick it back up anytime soon.

But I sat there for a couple minutes just staring at my DS, feeling sad and not understanding why until I reached this revelation.

Haven't played a Harvest Moon for a while, but this is a pretty great game.

The one thing I'm kind of disappointed about that I really liked back in the gameboy advance games was that they cut out the feature to pair off the other heroines with other males after you get married, so everyone gets a happy ending (well, everyone except the one guy you NTR'd).

I guess there aren't enough males for that here, but it would have been nice to see some of the pairings that could have emerged.

Though, what pisses me off is that he's much better off than me. I wish I was half sheep or rabbit or babirusa or whatever, so long as I get to marry Pia. So, it's my first summer, and so far, storms aren't as destructive as I feared they would be. They still happen a bit too often, tho. I just quit intensive farming for now, and killed that raccoon to get me a forge/workshop/pharmacy to start intensive crafting. I wonder if this will help me get much stronger or something.

Hurricanes can be mitigated by high quality soil. My first one I had a bunch of regrowable crops and there was practically nothing left. My next storm I had perfect soil and lost around 10%. It's still a pain, but that crop was worth it. I also think it helps if you clear debris as the storm is raging (Will it replace debris with different debris? Otherwise give it more spaces to bother.)

In your skill list page, it lists how leveling up each skill helps you generally. It's good to level up all skills because they all raise your stats.

I just started play Sunshine Island. It doesn't feel as good as RF and by feel I mean my MC feels clunky, and time moves ridiculously fast. By the time I finish watering all my crops its already past noon and it's night time when I finish foraging. What the hell. I also like the HP/RP system more than the Hunger/Stamina system.
