Because Touhou is generally a new/exotic thing for a lot of /a/folk, hence they often approve of it unless they are one of those underage action-shonen faggots that make that board terrible.

Here however, where people discuss it day in day out and practically fucking EVERYTHING to be said about ANYTHING Touhou, HAS been said here at some point, we're pretty mute on it apart from talking about doujin, admiration threads or playing Soku. There's also been a bit of a lull in new things to talk about from the source himself. ZUN hasn't put out a new Touhou in a while and so much discussion is pretty stale. Worse yet, here, people tend to be afraid to admit that they're looking for help in a game or have a question about something that may seem obvious to a pro, because they don't want to be ostracized for being a noob. On /a/ people might ask "what's Touhou" and not get crucified. Here, where you are expected to know practically all there is to know, you will get crucified and your corpse shitted on.

They just bitch about which girl is better.
