I tend to avoid listening to women sing in English. I dont know what the problem is but I just dont like them. There are only a few examples were women sound good and its usually in movies, Chicago for example, The Phantom of the Opera. So with birth of an English Miku, I think Ill finally have a good artist to listen to when it comes to English songs.

Ive always wanted to hear a clear version of Heart and Soul, the 1939s version. Id post a youtube link the search is 500ing at the moment.

The way I see it there are 3 outcomes that will happen with the English release.

1. The Vocaloid software will be used like it is in Japan. People create songs and share them with others. Hell, I wouldn't even mind seeing big name producers create songs with it. She builds up a moderate fanbase, holds a few concerts. and becomes slightly more mainstream. They can then sell Vocaloid swag around the US and make some more profit.

2. Media will get involved and destroy Miku's image, turning it into hipster crap that the original fans won't like. She could become immensely popular because of this, however the US Vocaloid fanbase would be filled with normalfags and hipster that don't know shit about Vocaloid.

3. Nothing changes. Only hardcore fans buy it. Japan realizes that this stupid and stops production.

One of these 3 things will happen, I guarantee it.

4. Disney gets drives a few dump trucks full of money to Crytons home office. They secure the English rights to Miku then releases the software with a new imaged targeted at 12 year olds. Vocaloid isn't really a type of music. Well, I suppose Miku is advertised as being tailored for pop songs.

In any case, if the techno/electronica crowd takes a liking to her, there is a good chance it will become popular in at least some circles, as her voice really best fits that kind of music.

I'm not really sure it's what you'd call "popular" in Japan either, though. I don't think it's really mainstream. A lot of people seem to be jumping to that conclusion just because there have been concerts(or for no reason at all).

Well I have no proof that I can post here, its not like i saved pictures when I went to school.

I sat at the nerd table during lunch. I enjoyed their company. I did on several occasions sit at the jock table when I felt like I needed a change on scenes. They never second guessed me sitting there or gave me any hostilities. Its possible It could have just been me because when i sat at the Jock table and the nerds were alone, the Jocks started throwing food at them. This never happened when i was sitting with the nerds. I also sat with the hicks sometimes, never had any problems, I set with the loners and even the Emo kids.

In class it was the same shit.

Ive gone to plenty of parties with the "popular kids" I never had a problem.

Well I dont know what sort of Hell hole your school is I can shed some light on how i perceive things.

I have a massive ego. This large ego I have lets me look on everyone that i dont know as filthy mongrels. Until the mongrels demonstrate the ability to think I shun them. I dont care what people think of me, in fact the worse people think of me the more it inflates my ego. This is were my anti-social traits come in.

Second I have a powerful string of curiosity in me. I actively look for people who are able to reason. As such I have no problem walking to a group of people chatting about whatever and joining in. I have working knowledge in most aspects of life so I dont have trouble adding to a conversation. Ive also got a great deal of comprehension so even If I am not an expert I can figure out what they are talking about. This removes my social awkwardness.

I crave information, all information. I would have no quams about walking up to a group of niggers on the street and having a chat, even they may have information I can absorb.

In the end this all amounts to almost no fear of other humans and lets me fit in to any group I care to grace with my presence.

I also have a good personality, somewhat clean appearance and good hygiene, though I have been said to look like a lumberjack. Stating off. I tend to not show my ego or dark side to people I dont know or trust.

Lastly, most people are timid and accepting. Even if they put on a strong front they may actually be interested in you. That is if you dont smell like shit or give off a bad impression at first glance.
