Not sure what you mean w, but yeah it was something else, much like all the other video shoot locations I was at.
First place I went to (after the sokkyougeki) was Shimokitazawa, walked out of the station and immediately was like "holy shit, Momusu was RIGHT HERE" and had my friend take a picture haha
The rest of the trip was basically exactly the same, did my best to sit in the same seats as Aichan etc etc....went exactly as planned, for the most part. Like I said, I'll expand on what exactly happened after I get ahold of the pictures.

In terms of the retro look I think they are fine but still I liked Seishun Collection's take on it just a little more. It's not about skimpy on money, it's about a frame of reference for the style, something I can understand you have no reference for it, it's sort of a 1950-60's U.S/British mod sort of look just so you know.

But I do prefer these dresses more, obviously you can't dance in them like that though.

You are quite quite misinformed about the progression of music styles. There is a LOT of stuff packed into the 60's that accounts for the end of the Mod cultural/artistic fad. The major players included Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Hendrix, the Who, Rolling Stones, and the Grateful dead.

The rise of the free love movement in England in 65 and the acid days swept the entire nation, quite a bit more and much quicker than it did in the States. So much so that the Beatles themselves to the shock of the nation grew their hair long and had long sideburns, starting smoking weed and writing songs on acid.

Couple that in with the rise of the amazing Rock movement in the late 60's and early 70's featuring beasts like Zeppelin and the Who. Many of which evolved and changed throughout both the hippy movement and it's demise with the Vietnam War. The same can be said with the Stones.

Mod culture actually went more underground and grew deeper roots and a more meaningful artistic face like with the Velvet Underground and Andy Warhol ( that is a whole different movement in itself)

Punk or the true form of punk was an attack on established rock, record companies, hippies, shit like Peter Frampton and yes the earlier forms of artistic pop music.

Hardcore in its truest forms spawned out opposition towards glam rock and stadium rock.

The main problem with these outfits is the classic Japanese mish mash of various artistic mediums and music styles that don't necessary go together with each other.

If anything I would expect a more electronica approach with something like this in 2010 J-Pop. But it is complex in it's own Tsunku type of way.

Yea, actually it didn't really seem to be such a huge announcement on 2ch as I hope they are expecting to be at the concert themselves and not watching it at home. But having a 3D and HD recording of a big graduation show is fucking awesome and is basically all I could ask for.
