The average person in the US would be for banning lolicon. They'll all say 'yeah we have freedom of speech but this is too far there are limits'. The only reason it isn't banned yet but ambiguous with fringe courts trying to find loopholes to throw people in jail is because of the supreme court that actually understands freedom of speech and cares about it.

It's still laughable how there can be long court proceedings to decide whether or not something violates the first amendment, especially when there are decisions that it doesn't when it clearly does. You can immediately tell whether it does or not.

But yeah Mass Effect is one big fucking copy of a visual novel combined with FPS/ RPG elements made to appeal to the west and it fucking did. They just stole from the Japanese.

Mass Effect 2 / Dragon Age even more so.

The only reason Japanese romance fails in the general population is the culture barrier, as you can see as soon as the archtypes were westernized it was a huge success.

But it's still largely a FPS/RPG game.

While Rune Factory 3 has much deeper visual novel elements.

Well, there are many way to do things. You don't need egoistic 'leaders' like you see nowadays and in past. You may need someone who teach you how to think for yourself without going into freedom of others. This goes also for others towards you. Governments/police work against people not paying things states in some laws. Which is basically extortion, but i won't explain it further here. Just think about it. Situation is ... government/police goes against someone with knowledge there won't be any meddle from other people. Think about it. Government/police to 'general' humans ratio is not even 1:100. Now think that even 10:1 people ratio would go against these politics things. They would not stand a chance. It's also fault of humans acting like sheep all time time so there you go.

The greasemonkey script for fixing Danbooru so it isn't Australia when it comes to loli and shota stopped working for me and I haven't bothered fixing it. Considering those are my most searched tags. I just use gelbooru. Most of the time I can figure out more or less what a lightly texted picture says anyway.

I see no issue with leaving RF3 and World of Tanks be as long as they're contained. They don't constitute an issue at the moment, unlike the spam that we get constantly.

Those that complain about an apparent bias towards /v/ threads seem to be the same that would like the board to be nothing but spam.

We need to stop these discussions about what is and what is not related to /jp/. It's just fragmenting us further, and we're not that many people to begin with.

Take it easy, tolerate the things that are not real problems for the board.
