I could buy this beautiful Lavry DA10 DAC for 1000$ but I'm gonna waste my money for figures.

I love it when people post the same thing on multiple boards.

>>spend all your money on figures and ignore your music gear

I know that feel. I'll probably buy a new electric guitar soon though. Been kinda playing the same cheap one for 8 years now.

>> No.6438752

Ah audiofucks, thinking the music they listen to is better just because they spent ridiculous amounts of money on some hardware that essentially does nothing but give a placebo.

Damn you must get some awesome tone out of those. Imagine the recording quality.

>$1000 on a DAC

Nigga, you crazy. You could find a tube headphone amp/DAC combo for half that price.

>> No.6438837

And then post on the internet insisting that you can hear a difference between lossless and lossy formats to cope with buyers remorse.

I don't like tubes and I already have amp for ~1100$ and sennheiser 650 headphones.

0/10, try harder.

I can't believe people actually like the scooter Rider fig when the GSC one is superior

It's people like you that give the rest of us a bad name.

HD 25 1-II reporting in, feels good man.

Why do you think it's bad? Lavry 10 is amazing for this price. Well, for people who actually compared cheap onmobo sound with expensive dacs. Much more details and resolution.

>>6439561

200-300$ will get you a DAC that works and sounds just fine. Heck even 100$ will get you something good.

1000$ will get you a good setup, but that's too much to spend just on the DAC.

I already have Asus xonar which is the best sound card for PC (well, except RME, but it's for professionals and studios). I guess you just didn't listen any of these expensive DACs if you think that they will not give you noticeable improvements.

The sound you hear from cheap audio components is not reference.
